  1. Im sure it cost us a fortune to hire a bunch of scalfording that season away fans or not? Surely we’re not at the debate of wanting more capacity than what we have? And out with the stadium walls to increase for more capacity than we currently have we won’t be able to as some company has bought the land the only way is to move location and sell stadium move to near Cameron bridge/methilhill/savoy park/sea road but even that could we fill it or be a vision in future I don’t know as I doubt the shareholders are willingly to sell or give the land back any time soon with the new look rail link towards leven pool round the corner. I also think the power station land is also private land since that was demolished back 10 years ago but surely the aim is to get a winning team back and regroup is the aim for now.

Would certainly welcome him to bayview. Think he's Brechin bound though.

Yeah do we not have two keepers even though Jude better than Scott in catching the ball was this guy second fiddle to Lennox at Montrose? If we had one keeper I would of took him in a heart beat.

Scott Shepherd will run all day and chase lost causes, which is great. Unfortunately, when it comes to actually playing football he is dreadful, can barely control it and struggles with the general concept of kicking the ball roughly where he wants, maybe the worst open play finisher I've seen, but ironically takes a fantastic penalty despite that. He'll definitely score at Station Park.

Good we can bring back the 5-4 lines in our games back then, thanks for your feedback. Certainly a upgrade to Sean brown of last season then no offence we need a runner in the team stretch defence apart.

  4. One signing in hopefully it start of the incomings and news, although we can’t get too excited we’ve all seen players sign then something else comes up two weeks later leaving us with what we’ve got like last season, but I’m all for giving the boy a chance…we still need go on a spending spree but!

  5. We now need look for someone to partner Steele at centre back if we’re playing with a back four. That’s Dunlop and two Higgins away so we’re looking at two centre backs, left back, midfielders and strikers to come in.

praying on some arrivals and that is the last player away.

Not too worried about these players joining a rival team.

Dunsmore certainly v good at his peak but was no where near that level last season and needed to move on.

Davidson injury plagued last season and direct replaceable with Millar and Newton.

Was never a great fan of Denholm.

Signings we need this summer to threaten the top 4 . Left Back, left central defender,  3 midfielders 2 wide one central creative type unless McManus fills this role, 2 central forward especially a target man and that's presumably Wallace is sticking around.

So that's at least 6/7 players that would have to walk straight into the team, Crawford has his work cut out.

This ^^ hope our scouting team is on it than last summer.

  7. do we have any friendly lined up also, watch this we will look at trialist again and hope some non-league English gem turns up I’m like the rest of us I am worried at other teams like Dumbarton and Stirling making addition and being active. With denholm away is they any other players at risk of leaving or do we now have everyone that’s signed up staying?

No mention of Kieran Millar or Danny Denholm .Offered new

     contracts and thinking things over?

Not just those two what about C. Higgins, Lewis Anderson, Murdoch, Mercer, Wallace and McManus or we’re they giving contracts?

we all know jude, Steele, Newton, Walls, Healy and Cunningham are signed but.

  9. Good luck to Ross unfortunately this season he has been hampered by injury but the guy served us well under Darren and his goal up at Stranraer was the pick of the bunch, wish him well though out of the defensive midfielders we have I like see kieran millar stay and he has been a mainstay in the team since returning to the club but hopefully see lot news who’s leaving etc and craw puts his own team/stamp in L2 to get us out this mess we find ourselfs in.

How does it work for the guys who have signed 2 yr deals,do they get less wages next season with us in league 2

I imagine they be on the same wage as agreed I think.

but I’m with everyone previously about keeping on Swanson, he is like a luxury member of the squad we can’t keep for L2 but I fear we need add more in strikers for next season but I wait see what craw does and who’s released and who’s staying once the cove game out the way. Also I don’t want start next season with a team of players out injured either so hopefully we shift some players on and get some new blood ie Dunsmore, Brown etc…for me on the list of out for me! but equally like last season I hope our recruitment a bit better to get players good enough or nick players from L2 from the likes of Edinburgh, Forfar like the jim Moffat days that would be competitive for L2 and find gems to make this team better again but who knows.

You're surely not including Blair in a defensive midfielder role. He is shocking and if he is the standard Crawford thinks will get us out of league 2 then we are doomed. The shirking out of tackles especially against Queens Park would for me mean get him out the door

Don’t know what his role is certainly not attacking or any but I would bin most of them I said and keep canaggia but that’s me.

  12. you wonder if the contracts signed will be overturned due relegation or willing to leave under freedom of contract similar to Agnew. but ones worth keeping will be millar, Healy, Steele, Jude the rest I wouldn’t be moaning of letting go and seeing players like dunsmore, slattery, smith etc move on pasture new for me.

also do we need three/four defensive players in the same team ie slattery, Blair, millar and Davidson and for me cangia gets that vote for his consistency alone, playing time in the middle despite given Davidson injury etc how good he’s been for us we don’t need four defensive players in same team and also new defence and attackers too plus another goalie!

but also with guys like walls recently, Cunningham if they aren’t too old for u20 level next term to be loaned out gain more games at lower level get to level of newton and Healy obviously, means more space but equally it’s going be hard to recruit now in L2 than what it has been but hopefully we find gems of another Kyle Wilkie type players of rival teams would be worth but we have no clue how L2 teams performed either? maybe get Craig Thomson back as one, he not local and playing well at Forfar be one but big summer for Crawford get his own rubber stamp on the team.

but I’m just glad we can safely say we’re heading to L2 and press the restart button and hope results improve next season but it’s going be a big summer or a few seasons.

I always thought Dunsmore was a good player and one I'd be happy to see rock up at Broadwood. Was surprised to see him loaned out to Stirling.

For me dunsmore hasn’t been the same player since raith rovers were in the league and that was two/three seasons ago since then he and others have declined so bad to injuries, suspension and generally not the same player. Definitely one of players to move on and find his feet again sadly. Loaning him out to Stirling is why he hasn’t been getting game time either but like so many players who wants any of our players this year given we have been poor and most of the squad out injured.

  14. Important month now with Clyde away and Alloa at home, hopefully same level of support for both games and my god we went from six points adrift to three so definitely got something to play for in these games remaining. Today was encouraging with a win!

Probably first time this season I’m quite looking forward to next week can’t wait as for the injuries that’s murdoch added to the already out list hopefully it’s nothing too serious.

  15. Your probably right since craw came in we’ve drawn games that we haven’t done and made us hard to beat, I feel that is done to a settled back four and realism of having smith in goals rather Gallagher who has disappeared due to a injury. I certainly thought we could of nicked something more than a point but after we were denied a point last week at Falkirk then I would have said a point today was good than no points.

but aye big games coming up for us Dumbarton, Alloa, Clyde if we keep nicking points then avoiding bottom spot will be anything good archievement at the club as we would all like stay up our transfers are poor and no much in say who are going strengthen us and I’ll be happy going down without kelty” and rebuild under the current management seems likely, mean teams next season will kick out signings and teams who stay up ie Clyde, Dumbarton, Peterhead will be looking for scraps to keep them up or loan signings from St mirren, Dundee and rangers. But aye you just get that fear having witness being bottom all season it’s been a hard watch but I suppose it’s football, but we are putting up a good fight to be six adrift of Dumbarton and these games are vital between now and end of season.

Val mcdairmid, c'mon & buy out Rankine/Twigg & really make a statement about your disapproval!

It isn’t the first time raith rovers as a club they are have disappointed or upset their own supporters, fans and board members. Just have to go back to Willie Grey and that was about 15 years ago or something?
