  1. Anyone know when young Taco Bell will be back with the squad last I herd he was in light training few weeks ago hopefully he makes appearance on the bench sooner rather than later in time for the play offs now young Hunter is out to Coatbridge. Would gives us an other attacking option from midfield among the subs - don't get me wrong it's good to see a kid or two on the bench coming though but if they aren't getting used they might aswell stay and play Friday night to get reconginse more from the benefit of playing u20s until there ready.

  2. Well tough fixtures coming up hopefully we stay injury-free and if we take a result from these two games leading to the derby then that would be great, hopefully we have improved as a team going to lanarkshire the last time we went through there we were comfortable beating but got a last minute draw with them at NB so hope much change since then going to penny cars arena....monthefife!

  3. Battle of JOINT THIRD in the league looks tasty for either manager, I'm hoping we can continue to win as many games left to make the play offs in my eyes while were still in the mix to look up. In August at home we won 4-1 then in Lanarkshire we lost 4-0 to a draw in January so at the moment 1 win each and 1 draw each between the teams, though Callum Gallagher loves scoring against east fife since the Dumbarton days so we need keep him quiet more than Andy Ryan.

but yes this is the 1st of the 4 tough games coming up and if we want to be in the mix we need to beat those around us as well as defeating teams like Forfar and Stranraer. I really hope we catch Ian Murray's team on a cold run since we have caught up with the Diamonds so a win would do nicely please!

lets get ready to rumble GIF

  4. out of those two kits - still prefer the tartan kit than gradient.

🤗🤑😍 Btw only ten leagues games left (if anyone's noticed) hopefully we are still higher than 5th place and Falkirk win the league and we have airdrieO and the Lino's in the POs, fingers crossed people. Another victory in Angus this weekend with Mo's losing to AirdrieO would be sweet as music to ears....!!

  5. I know it won't be east Fife without the strip colours but I would actually go with what everyone wants a sort of Gretna version option 4 something different as the rest look somewhat of a training top with number 3 behind as second pick but it will be weird without the stripes for two seasons....but hey ho I'm up for something different. Good luck...

It's East fuckin Fife. Nothing marks how low we've stooped that some think they might actually give us a game. M&M have cleared the negativity out of the dressing room so let's get these backwards hicksville c***s stuffed. 4-0 at least.

Somebody's clearly raging his team playing east Fife tonight and not one of the teams that put Falkirk to league one, oh dear mind you two draws aren't bad so we can't be that bad considering to the days Falkirk had a good team clicking in the past.

How was Adam Livingstone when at East Fife?

Never played much a season ago though he was with us from January to May so can't seem to comment. He went to Morton this year before he went to yous so dunno where he is at weather a step up was too much or needs more experience by going to broadwood that remains to be seen, though he is Wells promising u20s left back so he is going through a bit of a learning curve that he's been punted out onloan from them consistent. That's about it I'm afraid....

  8. Raith v Airdrie - highlighted as a big game of the week in league one, two teams going good at the top of the pack so this one I'm going with 2-3 Airdrie!

East Fife v Dumbarton - Dumbarton recently have been our bogey team but recently before xmas we ended that rot but since we've seen departures within the team since then so i'm going 1-1 as we have managed to concede as well as scoring and that's east fife downfall recently. but i'm yet to be prove wrong with conceding goals or even finishing above fifth!?

Forfar v Clyde - Clyde are on a good run and DL have made a good team on the up, they won the last encounter which was against us while Forfar was sadly destroyed by a revamped Falkirk team still chasing the leaders so I'm going with Clyde win.

Montrose v Peterhead - this game seems like two good teams on paper so i'm going a 0-0 draw.

Stranraer v Falkirk - well falkirk do have their moments, i'm hoping its a game where Stranraer is up for a fight if not we will see a cricket score so i'm going 2-1 with Falkirk just edging it.

Hello, I’m Callum a Raith fan crossing the divide for some opinions... I’m a Stirling uni student writing an article about the uni team and the success of graduates in recent years. With Lewis Hunter plying for you guys now, I was wondering if anyone could quickly tell me how he’s done this season and settled in the EF team. Can only briefly remember seeing him play against us this season so any advice would be appreciated, cheers 👍

the lads first full season in the senior game, I was expecting similar to the another boy ending up at Montrose and the ability to stake a case for the team. yes there's time where he has played well the other times he's been in and out the team at the moment struggling to find some sort of form and in danger of finishing below fifth place!

but for Lewis this is a learning curve there's players who have stepped up than others like Anton, Fash etc and have done rather well than others and that's football hopefully we see more of Lewis...

He maybe knows something we don't. The question is he any good. ?

Well he joined us having left the accies in October thought having played at a high level like the premiership we would see him blow these teams in the league away but bit disappointed tbh dunno if the fitness was an issue aswell as seeking ft regular  football, his best goal was at Stark's park but part from that he was pretty much a sub to dowds and the return of Wallace forced him out to the bench from then on and out of the picture once we signed Baker!....

So with talisman Macallister leaving for Cove, Boyd will have thought regular games and big wage in joining Peterhead but good luck to the lad.

Any rumours on signing or players being looked at

Very much quiet on the transfers front, though we did have ex-Rovers boy Joel Coustrain on trial on Saturday that is far who we are looking at....I say I like to see a defender and one or two Midfielders in. Hope Kev Smith returning is like a new signing for the rest of the season with having Baker, Waldo, Dowds and young MacKenzie/ Healy/ Cosgrove up top.

  12. Just noticed to see young Dylan Dykes released from Morton was he not mention in our threads a couple years ago as a signing target. Is a midfielder and is a ex Rangers traniee, Ross County, Stranraer (loan) and Stenhousemuir (loan), just throwing a name in since it's very quiet on our transfer front.

I can't believe Boyd's away hopefully the likes of Morton or Qots take him than our rivals TBH! but I liked Steven and his goal of his at starks park is up there with goal of the season that and the one he scored at Dumbarton all the best to Boyd though hopefully things work out at F/T level.

hopefully Kev's back now and we can bring in a centre back and midfielder or both!

  14. Great news that Lewis will be staying at Bayview hopefully Boyd follows soon as he still has something to offer on a similar deal. Really pleasing to see Kev back on Saturday there part from waiting on the Boyd signing or not I would be over the moon if a Midfielder or two and a centre back was signed though January is always difficult to get players in but I feel those areas are what we need at the moment especially when Dunlop is out, this friendly has came round at a good time for the likes of players struggling with match sharpness or players returning to light training ahead of traveling to Cumbernauld.

  15. this encounter is always a tight affair I feel we are sinking ship, dunno but defensively we are all over the place dunno if this is to do with Dunlop been injured or what? we really need get back to putting a winning run together to be back in the promotion mix and above 5th/Montrose tbh. With Airdrie winning the last encounter and absolutely teared us about at the Penny Cars slash Excelsior stadium we haven't been ourselfs of late either. Temperature will probably pump down to minus 10 but I fear the worst and with the news Andy ryan will be collected by Ian Murray from Dunfermline on his way down. Really hope DY prove me wrong at the weekend as the decks will be rearrange for the trip to Cumbernauld.

What is darrens reluctance to bring on boyd? Boys clearly got quality, give him a go!

I thought from Starks park the goal he scored v Raith we would of saw him get brought on yesterday. Is his contract not up in January? But this is the thing we have 5 strikers and its tough to decide which two you pick from.

Duggan. His first spell was good but lost his mojo at the rovers, dunno what the story is with him not like hes injured.

Boyd. Premier league striker but still find his feet for such a wee guy

Anton. You dunno what your going to get if on his day he scores hes on fire

Wallace. The guy a paul mcmanus works his socks off

Baker. New guy only saw him yesterday need see more but im guessing hes similar to Steven in finding his feet here

  17. I wonder if todays game we will see the new lad play, has been on our bench as unused sub recently so dunno if hes fit to play but its a big game and also in the league today but this game might be the debut day🙄

I also like to make a suggestion regarding the late George Dewar to have somewhat BROZE looking type like Zlatan has in Malmo, Sweden outside the Main Stand or opposite Ace recovery to mark the legend with the club of such a legend he was just a thought but....we can also look at alternative ways for this from raising money to crowdfunding slash chairty but ithought may suggest something to pay the guy respects. Good to see home end full so hopefully the result matches fingers crossed i say.

  18. Been off this so refreshing to catch up with things on this website, well first home game since the dumbarton game also hopefully im not a jinx like airdrieO away where we got ripped tae shreds m8....hopefully or shall i say fingers crossed we follow up from those camel treks around scotland and catch the raith defence by surprise. Early rise got like 4 hours to kill before i need head over the water....let the battle commense bye for now.............

Lee miller looking like massive favourite nowScreenshot_20191118_112948_com.huawei.browser.jpeg

Im reading somewhere they will appoint Miller and former Dundee United centre back David McCracken as interim duo dunno if that's there choice on permanent basis, what a wonderful decision to get them in early I must admit.
