I've been dipping in and out of CNN all day, these guys must be on some serious shit to keep saying the same things every 10 minutes on a loop.
Boys on the screen do it in the style of a horse racing commentator too, not sure how they manage it.

YOU'RE NOT WRONG!
(I forget what that's from)Keith Hunt, the TV presenter who appeared on Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge mid custody battle.

Does anyone think Trump
(A) Actually believes the stuff hes saying about the election?
(B) knows it all bullshit but doesn't give two effs..
(C) started off knowing its bullshite but has convinced himself its the truth
In 2016 i was initially of the opinion that he was a very savvy media player who knew exactly what he was doing, and whose every word was calculated to the syllable - a bit like 2000's Mourinho galvanising his team by coming out with weird statements in press conferences. I thought the daft, OTT personality was a facade and that underneath it he was quite switched on to what he was doing. I still think this to an extent, and there are a few interesting articles on his media tactics, much of which he stole from Putin.
However i'm now starting to realise that this all might be nonsense and that he is in fact just thick as shite.

This on-air CNN vs Fox thing is quite interesting here. Feels like CNN are finally letting loose after 4 years of taking their shite.

Without Murdoch behind him Trump's revolt will die a death and fizzle out pretty quickly i reckon.

Quite interestingly the New York Post seem to have turned on him after that, and i've seen a few clips from Fox News today of them starting to question him slightly. Folk on Twitter have pointed out that generally, once Murdoch realises someone is of no use to him he drops them pretty much immediately, which is maybe what's happening here.

Wasn't expecting a Santorum face turn but here we are.

This is outstanding.

Wasn't aware how long it had been since they'd had a one term president. Real boot in the baws for Trump which he'll be remembered for. Lovely stuff.

Trump speaking in about half an hour (if i've got my time zones correct). Could be a laugh.

The can of worms punting him off it would open probably isn't worth it for them. His supporters are absolutely daft for anything free speech/censorship related and would only help him further his 'the establishment are against me' patter.

If the Democrats did indeed fix the whole thing it was nice of them not to take the Senate or a supermajority in the house.

Seems like Trump is basically just patching the actual results and having his own election, interested to see how he reacts if/when Biden officially wins it.

What's actually going on here? i've missed the last couple hours and it seems like the whole thing's went (even more) daft.

Fox news is fucking bonkers. It genuinely feels like a parody of what you'd imagine an American news channel would be like. The reporter just thanked someone for his service mid interview, to the cheers and woops of everyone in the background. The next person interviewed said she knows Trump's winning cos God is with them and she 'just feels it'.

Their inherent distrust and paranoia towards of the whole concept of government (despite having an almost cult level of fanaticism towards their leaders) plays a big part in their rejection of universal healthcare. They don't want or trust their governments to have control over their healthcare, there's not much point arguing with them about it as we come at it from a completely different starting point. To us it just seems completely bonkers and immoral, where as they (well those to the right anyway) almost have pity on us for not having the same 'freedom' they do and for living in a nanny state. Nutters

If that was the leader of some country in the middle east hitting out with the fraud shtick Trump's going for here, the US would be the first country to carpet bomb them in the name of democracy.

Sky news have managed to find a few younger (white) trump voters who cite the economy as the reason for supporting him.
What exactly did Trump do apart from see continuations of trends that had been in place since sound 2011/12?Deal with loads of American tourists through my work, a lot of them are genuinely convinced their economy is absolutely booming and that everything's the best it's been in decades, basically due to Trump's constant head in the sand type "things are great, we're doing great, we're creating so many jobs" type spiel.

Both the BBC's and ITV's coverage would put you to sleep. Like the way CNN are dissecting every state.
