  1. £327 up from the last two nights. For Bayern v Barca I went under/over 2.5 goals in 1st half (£175 profit), then tonight went over 0.5 goals pre-match, Ronaldo to score first in-play (£152 profit). Delighted to say the least!
  2. Same here but I have a terrible feeling that he's going to die. The show seems to be building him up this season as someone to root for, which is never a good sign. The plan to defeat the Bolton's, leaving the North to Sansa, is too perfect I just can't see it happening. I reckon either Roose and co win the battle and Stannis dies, or he wins but gets killed by fucking Brienne of Tarth. I'll be absolutely seething if the latter happens.

    Daredevil

This is a fucking brilliant show, up to episode six now. I was expecting something similar to Gotham but this is on another level.
  4. As others have said, decent episode to start off, checking in on most of the characters. Looking forward to seeing Dorne and Ayra in Braavos next week though. What do you reckon Stannis will do with Jon after his mercy kill? Anyone else watch the Thronecast afterwards on Sky Atlantic? Thought it was pretty awkward how they've demoted Jamie East from being the presenter last year to basically being the guy who sits on the end and reads out shite tweets. Not a fan of Sue Perkins either. Liam Cunningham (Davos) was top bantz though.
  5. Enter Shikari were brilliant as always last night, class DJ set at the Cathouse as well.
  6. New trailer released today, this is the best quality I can find atm:
  7. The Thing - Better than Alien IMO, some absolutely gruesome scenes. 8/10 The Imitation Game - 8/10 American Sniper - Bradley Cooper puts in a good performance but apart from that I actually found it surprisingly boring. Just didn't really work as a film for me. 5/10 Boyhood - Some of the characters are a bit annoying but a very well made film, deserves all the critical attention it's getting. 8/10 Birdman - Absolutely brilliant, so many good performances and much funnier than I was expecting it to be. 9/10
  8. Brilliant film, I'd recommend The Guard as well if you've not seen it.
  9. That's odd, there are strong rumours that he's signed for us.
  10. An absolutely sensational film. I rarely ever give films 10/10 but this totally deserved it.
  11. Cape Fear (1962) Really enjoyed this thriller, fantastic performance from Robert Mitchum. 8/10 Is the Scorsese remake as good?
  12. £5 on Brazil, Colombia, Netherlands, France, Germany and Argentina to qualify returned £24. £3 double on Netherlands and Costa Rica/Greece draw returned £19.
  13. On Tuesday I had Brazil (-2), Greece (+1), Switzerland and Czech Republic (+1). Then last night had Netherlands (-1), England (+1), Argentina (-2), Uruguay, Chile (-1) and agonisingly Ivory Coast (-1).
  14. Would folk that have the DVD boxsets say they are worth getting for the episode commentaries and other extras?
  15. £3 on Brazil U20, Switzerland, England, Spain, Uruguay and Chile returned £11.27.
  16. I thought Stannis was heading back to King's Landing, no?

  18. Peter Dinklage absolutely nailed that last scene. Like others, I can't wait for the trial by combat. At first I thought we could maybe be seeing Jaime, as Tywin/Cersei's champion, up against Bronn, as Tyrion's champion, after them having practised together but that's probably unlikely. Would Bronn fight for Tyrion again, even though Tyrion probably has no gold/silver to pay him with this time? Other than Jaime, I can't think of anyone else that would be his champion. I agree with forehead7, the ideal scenario is Jaime fights for Tyrion and defeats Tywin/Cersei's champion - but this being Game of Thrones I just can't see that happening. The scene between Varys and Oberyn was intriguing. Varys obviously dreams of sitting on the Iron Throne one day but I find it hard to see how he could ever be king.
  19. I had £1 EW on Furyk @ 33/1 from the start, so returned £9.25. I really thought Kaymer was gonna blow it after the restart though. It was an unbelievable putt on the 17th!
  20. £1.81 BTTS on EF/Clyde, Falkirk/QoS, Annan/Stirling and Cowden/Ayr returned £11.48.
  21. I had a quid on Motherwell, Clyde, Stirling and bloody Celtic - the only odds-on team of the four. Would've returned about £22. Also needed West Brom to score for a tenner.
