  1. Jeez, what a miss from Johnson. Our finishing problems still not sorted!
  2. Lot of early pressure from Peterhead and lost count of the no of corners they've had. See playing their way into it now
  3. Welcome to the best league in Scotland my Lichtie friends. Looking forward to the visits to Arbroath with The Dee. Station bar, Bell Rock, then who knows.......
  4. I don't think this cluster f**k resides with any recent manager but instead the complete mismanagement of the he club but JN
  5. I understood DFC eventually paid all football related debt from admin 2. Did that not include Dodds?
  6. https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/fp/ex-dundee-united-captain-to-return-to-scotland-as-red-tape-scuppers-move-to-bali-united/
  7. Lol, I see Gollum is back from Bali Utd as he couldn't sign for them due to his previous club being of a diddy standard
  8. For the many RHLSTP podcast fans, if you weren't aware he also has a YouTube channel which the shows are released on. Gives a different perspective to the shows, the recent Brian Blessed one a case in point as Herring can't get a word in.
  9. It would be nice to get a LB under our belts given we released 2
  10. I don't think DFC have taken advantage of the demise of our dayglo neighbours to embed a new generation of supporters for years to come. Partly that is about lack of real success on the pitch but it's also about making it cheap to bring them to games and providing a good match day experience. It's really not difficult
  11. Just in case nobody has posted this, there is a new DFC podcast (Walking down the Provie Road) by one of the guys from The Terrace podcast. Early days but it's been good so far
  12. Moved out of the Coxy to the Derry many seasons ago, mainly due to the dour buggers in there. It seemed that most siting around me were just waiting for an opportunity to boo or get on players backs. Derry is much more positive, although there are a few whollapers that have me rolling me eyes
  13. Hello Guys. Just found this thread. I'm off to do 3 Munro's at Arrochar today and tomorrow. Looking like low vis on the tops as per usual but otherwise good mountain weather. I'll let you know how it goes. I recently did Ben Lomond doing the circuit route going up Ptarmigan first. There is a good path and the only challenging part is the final ascent up to Ben Lomond top itself which needs a bit of scrambling confidence. Up and down the tourist trail is very easy and, like someone commented, it's like a motorway - although when I was there a couple of months ago there was some path reconstruction work going on at the start of the walk and an alternative path route for about a mile.
  14. Yep, a regular on the Billy Steel bus in his youth. They sponsor his shirt every year in return now.
  15. All the best to Hibs for the final. You guys deserve to get some reward for the teams efforts this season.
  16. Always reflected after the two administrations, and then the 25 point deduction that could have finished is off, that I would be happy just to have a club to continue to support. I have no doubt that we have underperformed this season but we have a team that seeks to play "good" football, a stable board and will be the only team in Dundee in top league next year. I couldn't be happier reflecting on where we have come from.
  17. Completely agree with this sentiment. Too often the thought is only about the cash that will be lost if a bid is not accepted prior to a contract finishing. The value of a player like Greg in propelling us up the league, to latter stages of cup runs or just box office draw could easily outweigh the derisible money currently being talked about. The only problem for the club is obviously "could"
