  1. Yes there is. Well for those of us who are capable of rational thought.
  2. Quite. I'll leave you guys to the tiresome twins. I've had enough.
  3. Aye, you've just hit on why we are ''the most successful family of Nations in the World''. We're the only fkg family of Nations in the World.
  4. I've wondered that too. Also, I didn't actually know that NI were excluded from team GB. Do NI have their own Olympic team? or do they unite with another nearby Country? Anyone know how the loyalists of NI feel about not being considered British enough for team GB? This is off topic but the thread took a wild turn ages ago and I genuinely don't understand this team GB stuff. BTW Lichtie 'thepundit' is a trolling bellend, best ignored.
  5. What have I told you about your interpretation skills?
  6. Really not worth the blood pressure man.
  7. Funnily enough I agree with you and it would just be as valid, should Scotland become independent of The UK. I would always refer to myself as Scottish wherever I was though and when I'm oversees, it also feels safer to do so too. Just one of the wee bonuses of belonging to a nation who enjoy a better reputation than some wannabe super power. Next time you're abroad, say your Scottish rather than British and see how the locals warm to you.
  8. That's a poor interpretation of what he actually stated. Not at all surprising from yourself though, as you seem to have misinterpreted everything to do with the debate so far. Lichtie was quite clear that he had no probs with the English - whether domiciled in Scotland or England - just that he considered England not to be his country. I've read a lot of your stuff and I'm quite sure that should we ever meet, I wouldn't like you much but it would have nothing to do with you being English and from what Lichtie has said, it wouldn't be a consideration for him either. Your a stubborn head in the sand numpty who refuses to properly look at the Yes argument, to make a rational and informed decision, on something that could lead your adopted Country to a better place. You being English is not an issue, other than it being unfortunate that many of your fellow countrymen who have settled in and are enjoying the benefits of life in Scotland, are by all accounts similarly minded.
  9. Must have eaten all the pies again. Catering at the Rugby 7s ran out of everything yesterday.
  10. A political union and union of crowns. Personally, I'd ditch the witch too.
  11. Whoops Continually being called and referred to as The Nationalists has had a sub-conscious bearing.
  12. My thoughts on this. The Uk is indeed a Political Union. England & Wales are foreign Countries. Great Britain is a strip of land shared by England, Wales & Scotland and is part of an Island group known as The British Isles. We are nationals of whichever Country within this political union we come from. We are all citizens of The UK. We are all British in the same way that Norwegians, Danes and Swedes are all Scandinavian. I'm a UK citizen by virtue of the political union that currently exists between my country and others, by this same token, I am also European. I'm British by virtue of the fact that my Country (Scotland) shares a landmass known as Great Britain, situated within a group of islands known as The British Isles. I'm Scottish because Scotland is the Country of my birth and where I chose to live. I don't believe we have to be either Scottish or British and it can only be one or the other. Regardless of the outcome of this vote, I will still be Scottish and I will still be British. I hope to no longer be a citizen of The United Kingdom though. There is nothing wrong with being or being called an Ethno Nat. To me an Ethnic Nationalist in the context of Scotland's independence, is simply, someone who believes in Scottish independence, who happens to be of Scottish birth or/and bloodline. Why should this be perceived as insulting. I consider myself ethnically Scottish but certainly have no problem considering, non ethnic Scots to be allowed to consider themselves Scottish too. People who have chosen to make this Country their home and show respect for our culture and way of life are most welcome. All this type of shit just deflects from the real issues. I often think that it would have been better if the Scottish National Party had been called the Scottish Independence Party. Nationalist has been a very mis-used word.
  13. The club that your club replaced, were widely regarded as being one of the top 2 in Scotland. What happened last time they were in Europe? The word Kaunus springs to mind for some reason.
  14. Good. We're going to need a good size squad, especially forwards, with all the games we'll have to play across all comps. The luxury of a bit of rotation in attack will be essential.
  15. ''Interesting professor, this one claims to have feelings. Perhaps we've been wrong and the species is closer to human than all the previous evidence has suggested.''
  16. As well as his current wide role, he offers excellent cover for both Rooney & Pawlett. I'd rather he stayed but not if his heart isn't in it and if his going made the signing of Shinnie happen, then so be it.
  17. You think? Maybe he just finds the tedium of dealing with the like of No8 & Bennett in any reasoned way, just utterly pointless. It is a conclusion I have come to myself tbf. I'm pretty sure I would enjoy a pint in the company of HB far more easily than with No8, who I believe to be border-line sinister.
  18. Normally I wouldn't favour either of the two but as Hibs don't look like getting things together enough, I really hope you guys win this league. So good luck in fucking up Ally's journey.
