  1. Fair enough, I didn't realise that. Although last year I was far more optimistic than this year. I still feel like yesterday's result is just papering over the cracks
  2. 3 points, an away win, all great news and a welcome change from the norm. However........ the performance was pretty grim, I think we all agree every other team in the championship would have beat us playing like that. We have still only 10 points from the 1st 12 games which if we continue will mean 30 points at the end of the season. Let's hope it's a turning point and we pick up another 3 points next week, but let's not all get ahead of ourselves, Stevie is still on a shoogly peg!
  3. By January I think it's going to be an any 1 from 2 (us and st Mirren) but with their resources they will probably sign some quality to keep them safe and they will battle it out with Dunfermline and Ayr for the play off spot! I hope I'm wrong! And I wish I wasn't this pessimistic but I can't help but worry about us this year!
  4. I worried when we signed stevo, I don't think he's done nearly enough to justify what I'm sure is a very handsome wage. I'd be happy to punt him in January (ala willie gibson) and invest in someone else (ala Christian Nade) although the way things are going, in January we could be a long way adrift!
  5. That's a beautiful draw, when is it to be played?
  6. So if Blackpool fans threw tangerines onto the pitch does that mean we can throw our sons....................
  7. That's pretty conclusive stats as far as I can see. There is very few positives and it's not good enough. We're the ones that pay our money to watch the sons and what we get is simply not good enough. On paper we have a decent team, so something is clearly wrong and that starts with the manager! Unfortunately I doubt we will see Stevie sacked/leave until the end of the season, the board will do the easy thing and let him see out this year and when we go down claim we were the club with the smallest resources and couldn't compete, blah blah blah
  8. Exactly, that's why Morton have their day in the sun at hampden and we got pumped by all comers! Times dragging on! We need a change
  9. It is dropping and will continue to do so! I'm away to get married next saturday! Then on honeymoon for 2 weeks! I won't be back until things improve or Stevie goes!
  10. I think we should all go in, we'd all put up more of a fight than some we have seen in recent weeks! f**k! I'm having a proper p&b meltdown here!
  11. It's simply not good enough, end of! Fair enough if we get beat 3-0 by a decent team. But ayr? Really? With no disrespect if we can't beat them at home we are doomed! If it wasn't for st Mirren being completely gash and even worse than us we would be stranded and drifting
  12. The expectation I have of my team is that they are competitive and when I pay money to go see them I feel like I have watched them put 100% effort in. Can you say that's been the case for the away games in the last year? Ok maybe at home we look a bit different but home form alone won't save you or win you the league depending on your expectations! Us asking for the managers head just won't happen. The board will expect Stevie to keep us up, if he does that it will be a success in their eyes, regardless of how ugly it is. He will only be sacked if we go down, even then I'm not convinced he would be!
  13. Iv been pretty patient with aitken when others have been calling for his head but that patience is wearing a bit thin. Our away record is horrific. We can't go 3 goals down before we get our finger out and start playing, it's happened twice this season and gives Stevie an opportunity to cover up the real issues. We won't stay up on home form alone and even that's not good enough, we should be beating a crippled St Mirren side. Stevie doesn't seem to know his best team and it shows, we have witnessed 1 win this season and it's no surprise we can't fill a bus. The problem is, we have some horrible results and then we get 1 good win and we are made to think all is rosy (see Dundee Utd) then we are back to the status quo. I don't think we should bag Stevie yet but Much more like this and I will be calling for change.
  14. Or buy the half Time draw ticket which u get free with your parking anyway
  15. If you done it right you'd leave your car at home, go to the pub about 12 and not get home until about midnight...........[emoji23][emoji23] Problem solved
  16. All the fans of the clubs who oppose it need to stand up and boycott the games against the Colt teams if it goes ahead. A lot of people have voted with their feet in the abomination that is the league cup but a mass walk out with games played in front of absolutely no one will make the authorities take notice.
  17. Dan Carmichael released from Hibs today? Just flinging names out there as it's the last terrific transfer Tuesday before the deadlinelol
  18. I'll mark Nade, I'll just tickle that big handsome man and run away! He'll never catch me! God help me if he did!!
  19. Still think my idea of signing up all us P&B loyal posters for this one off game would be the best idea
  20. Jordan Kirkpatrick scoring for fun for Alloa this season so far......
  21. At least your not abandoning him this time to go to the football......... [emoji12][emoji12]
  22. Must say, Alan Martin in goal looks excellent. Very good and looks like he installs confidence in those in front of him, maybe something we've been lacking for the past few years, could be the difference between 8th and relegation!
  23. Stevie should sign 11 of us P&B faithful purely for this game. We should then go and make a mockery of the competition by any means necessary!
