  1. Are we really going to follow them? As their cases climb and climb?
  2. The players need to socially distance in the amber zone and they are under control of clubs. Also, if these guys watching are inside the ground, how do you make THEM socially distance? That is the flaw in the 'let them in, we'll socially distance, promise gov' idea.
  3. players and fans 2m distanced... oh wait (Drum Utd v JB)
  4. I am pulling this out of nowhere but let's say the SFA manage to convince the SG to allow fans to return at a low level. What would the odds be on them allowing it at clubs who have an Entry licence first? It would seem a good way to limit numbers and also to have it happen at clubs who have put in place various protocols to even get that far in terms of meeting set standards. EoS clubs a plenty might benefit there - but not too many WoS. But I really can't see it - the fools in England have opened up way too much and look what's happened. Jonathan Van Tam writes today that: We have been way more cautious than them up here.
  5. Well I have known one well and that person died. I have known others that lived through it thankfully. Your government and media paranoia is dangerous.
  6. Sadly John is still very unwell in hospital. He is a major contributor to this community and ongoing best wishes to him and his family
  7. Open it all up shangri la lassaiz faire don't live in fear. All crap. The next few months will make Mar-Jun seem like bliss.
  8. This mitigation shit is about it not being possible without. In my sector I must remain 2m from adults for any exposure more than 15m. We have a strong union though.
  9. But you do need to be 2m socially distanced from other adults. If the Blackburn dressign rooms can take 9 adults with 2m social distancing, fair play but they must be huge. I suppose showers can be used to change though.
  10. what I meant was it is easier to socially distance in a concourse as opposed to a dressing room, even a modern one.
  11. Petershill the latest to go. http://www.petershillfc.co.uk/page24.html?fbclid=IwAR33AKq2aiHpam65i11NrfFoNN0nCGdQvLAoQ4TXR8MtSaLTWkyD_xs4Ytk
  12. not sure stand concourse is same as a dressing room? Any pics of how Killie did it, with their 14 day workplace isolation ongoing?
  13. What use is a community club that the community can't watch?
  14. Players happy to play, they all know the risks. If it's too big a personal risk they don't play, they're not forced, nobody will hold it against them. Bit of peer pressure surely? Who wants to be the one that says no?
  15. Aye, if it's not any use to 'most' it's by definition eh... useless? thanks for clarification though.
  16. Has the guidance changed from 2m socially distanced? I had a look yesterday and couldn't see anything updated on SFA site. Maxwell's message did say 5 people and couldn't be used by any other 5 on rotation. What use is the concept of the dressing room if only 5 people can fit in it? We're not playing 5 a side.
  17. Pollok were not EVER "dead against" leavingthe Juniors.
  18. Protecting the club's future is more important than playing right now. Maybe the lesser impact of covid through east? Pollok lost a great man to it. My daughter is currently self isolating aged 2. It feels pretty real to me.
  19. With the leagues picking up in a year's time from where they are, what are clubs going to gain from playing through the next six months+ of chaos? Not only the weather to put games off but mini / maxi lockdowns, winter bugs wiping out teams as well as games being off due to covid positives - track n trace is glacial so unless a squad is cleared it's game off.
  20. Bankruptcy? How do you plan to pay your players? IOUs?
  21. Has Kevin Spacey slipped something into his pint for later?
  22. Fans coming back in? I can really see the SG going for that. The timing is all wrong. Clubs don't have income to pay players.
  23. You think they'll be getting paid by those playing on anyway? With what?
  24. With respect (maybe) the the 17 managers, they're employees. What the clubs do is nothing to do with them - this isn't the amateurs where they run and pick the team. Clubs should do what is right for their future and survival through these (for us) unprecedented times.
