  1. Last game was main event too, and was available to Football/PL subscribers.
  2. And therefore unless all 17 are of the view they can convince their players to play for nothing this is a pointless exercise to present as a collective view to pressure whoever needs pressuring. I would imagine sponsors will be reticent to sponsor clubs for things like ad boards when no one might see them, programme ads etc... lots of lost income beyond that on matchday. I just don't see how it adds up.
  3. Are they agreeing to play / manage for free? My guess is no?
  4. For interest: East and North Juniors delay to 21st November.
  5. Kick off delayed to 21st November.
  6. The SJFA was on non-professional board, as was EoS and SoS before the WoSL was created. Been that way for a few years now.
  7. Sorry about image size! from https://twitter.com/Chrisstrainjnr Views not included from Pollok, Talbot and Kilbirnie.
  8. Make 20-21 a viral equilvalent of the wartime leagues - 'see you on the other side, chaps'.
  9. Vaguely informed twitterer suggesting all below LL kyboshed.
  10. Possibiy my mistake as I am still working through the lines and I thought I saw them in more than one game last night. It must have been the Rovers line up. I was only half paying attention.
  11. Being Junior would have stopped all of this! Like covid stopped the Junior leagues...
  12. Trialists elsewhere - must be a relaxation for this cursed season.
  13. For now. Could easily be reintroduced in months ahead.
  14. Absolutely. It depends on what the motivation for the ban is - is it to reduce the number of workplaces mingling or to prevent it?
  15. The SFA deem tier 5 and upwards to be professional, tier 6 and below non professional. They may on this occasion (due to workplace mingling risks) limit it to those whose full-time job is football? That would make more sense than to say the amateurs of Edinburgh University or Civil Service Strollers are more entitled to play than the renumerated players of Linlithgow Rose.
  16. They won't be taking view that if you play for enough for a packet of fags and a carry out every week you're 'professional'. Game off across central belt surely for all outwith SPFL Four at very least?
  17. They do not want a concentration of unsupervised adults anywhere if it can be avoided.
  18. Starting without any promise (or likelihood) of additional funds seems reckless to me. Fans are not returning any time soon - Jason Leitch has not even talked about the lower SPFL sides getting their crowds back, let alone us.
  19. And what of the clubs that are not ran along amateur lines? Just f*ck 'em?
  20. Better examples being Bo'ness, Linlithgow, EK and Kelty.
  21. yet the traffic light system leaked today suggests a ban incoming on non professional sport.
