The funny thing is we are actually doing ok performance wise and have punched above our weight in some fixtures (aberdeen,hearts, rangers to an extent) but due to malky’s baggage he is getting far more criticism. we really ought to win soon though and even then we could do with winning 2 of our next 3 against the “lesser” teams

Anyone know where I can find mackay’s interview , from what folk have said his stance sounds bonkers and this could’ve been the chance for him to show he was “reformed” and have some sympathy and humility towards the potential victim instead it sounds an awful lot like he wants to sweep it under the carpet I really hope the accusations aren’t true but if they are then the perpetrator needs a life ban, there’s no room for that behaviour in football or in any walk of life

Motherwell fans probably looking at our results and seeing this as a walkover but we have had a horrid run of fixtures to start and are already looking a far better side than last year , we’ve drawn with hearts , Aberdeen and st johnstone whilst we put in spirited performances against both of the old firm the only blotch on the record so far is a 3-0 defeat to hibs. Ironically I’d drop white for this game but he has done very well for us I just feel one of the samuels would suit better for pace on the break and deserve a chance, hopefully Clarke is back but if not I’m content with Baldwin and iacovitti, hoping for something like this maynard-brewer burroughs Clarke iacovitti b.Paton RCC spittal tillson callachan h.paton D.Samuel Going for another 2-2 as motherwell appear to be flying but we have also held our own against rangers, aberdeen and hearts so no reason this can’t continue

Unless we have signed some and not announced them yet I’m not enthused by our deadline day at all , getting Samuel in is a good move but at the expense of losing shaw it’s not IMO you need 4 strikers to operate in a squad due to form, injury, formation etc also we needed a winger and rather than bring one in we have lost one in letting Ryan Macleman go to clach on loan I do realise he may not be at this level yet but we are very short of wingers I’d have kept him around until we signed someone. as I said hopefully the club did someone and haven’t announced it , I think they’ve done that before?

We were decent vs rangers but I think aberdeen will be out with intent to bounce back , and if their new signings are in the fold then I can only see one winner

Yes my thinking too but he never started Sunday and on form he shouldn’t start also just noticed baldwin can play right back too so that’s an option as back up/ competition to Randall , being greedy we’d buy another right back anyway but can’t see that happening! As above winger next please!

I don’t wish Donaldson or Watson away but surely he’ll be at least 3rd choice for us and that is most certainly a positive as iacovitti and Clarke are both decent and hopefully this guy adds to that competition

I was fairly happy with what I saw today , with the exception that we should’ve went for them a bit more but as a largely new team I think there’s definitely potential

Let’s hope we can pull it off , I mean if there’s ever a time to play rangers it’s probably now as it’s the poorest form they’ve been in for over a year , in saying that I’d take a result that isn’t classed as a hammering as a success!

Think the split with yogi was right from a footballing side but from a supporters side he was much easier to get behind , a very likeable individual, as for the catering I think it looks a good move and to have catering outside the ground aswell is also a good decision , not many football grounds will sell hog roasts I’d imagine!
