  1. That’s just bizarre. They couldn’t afford him, we wouldn’t sell him and he wouldn’t move to a smaller club. Your friend has been on the booze
  2. Houston got skinned by Thomas on a couple of occasions in the first half but I agree second half he kept him quiet. Thomas is a quality player at this level btw
  3. I agree first half was very even but we got the breaks and QP didn’t. I don’t agree that that’s our strongest 11, midfield got bullied in that first half. Murdoch for Smith and Mullen or O’Connor on the wing
  4. Thistle are a better team than ICT. For the sake of the league Inverness win please
  5. Red card just about right. Not sure why Michael Stewart can’t see it. Good friend of McCall?
  6. As a neutral I have to say on the Thistle debate. Thistle are from Glasgow the other team are from Inverness
  7. I don’t think Thatcher or any politician for that matter can be compared to the Queen

  9. I can’t see how we could play at Somerset if the north terrace was closed. Particularly when playing OF or Killie.
  10. Can you imagine playing Killie in a play off for the Prem? Can you imagine having to ground share Rusty park after winning promotion as Somerset is going through renovation
  11. Well I think unless something dreadful happens, like major injury problems to key players, that this season is a top 4 scrap not bottom 2 dogfight
  12. You might be right but apart from Thistle and Dundee I really don’t know who else is going to boss the top 4
  13. I don’t disagree that the criticism can and should be pointed at all clubs in this league. However, this coupled with the online ticketing fiasco and the fact that they are charging over the odds imo at £22 means that Morton are one of the worst offenders I’m afraid.
  14. What everyone, especially Morton fans, are missing here is the fact that football is in the entertainment business. They have to compete with other options for people’s limited budget. The £22 entry to be crammed into a poor seat with restricted viewing is just not acceptable any more and the “pay up or shut up” attitude by home fans will only see the continued decline in attendance at games.
  15. The ticket hassle was that I was reading Ayr fans were paying online and having issues with getting a valid ticket, this happened to me last season when I paid online and didn’t get a ticket and had to spend 15 minutes prior to the game trying to gain entry. Furthermore, £22 is OTT for Scottish championship IMO.
  16. Too much hassle all this ticket nonsense, coupled with a £22 price tag I’ll stay at home this time.
  17. I’m curious as you are a 2 team city do you have a large percentage of Dundonians that turf up at both teams depending on who is well and the opposition they are playing? Or is it just as tribal as anywhere else?
  18. Personally I think most sides in this league have had a pretty dreadful transfer window. It’s going to be an interesting season and without picking the teams I think like last season we’re going to have 2 leagues within the league. One for promotion and one for relegation. I think there will be a sizeable gap between top 5 and bottom 5.
  19. I’m not convinced MacKenzie is the answer after a couple of decent performances. Another quality forward should be able to get a starting position most weeks.
  20. We need a striker. If Dipo gets injured or suspended a forward line of any combination of Bryden/Moffat/Ashford/MacKenzie is not grabbing many goals in this league.
