    Congratulations. My son was born the day that Ayr beat Thistle 3-1 to stay up and relegate them I was gutted to miss the match.

    Feet on the ground time. It’s only a few weeks since we booed them off at half time in Stenhousemuir. We will have some great performances like last night and some not so great but what a start to the season it’s been. Bullen out, Bullen genius. Rollercoaster so far. One things for sure it isn’t boring.

    Dundee played well in parts of the game but didn’t have that cutting edge. We played well and took our chances. I still think the title will go to Thistle or Dundee but there are going to be many twists and turns I suspect.

    I suspect we are waiting on a few loans from the Premiership. How about Moffat from Celtic?

    Personally I think Allan, though undoubtedly quality, would be an expensive risk. I suspect he would be injured more times than he would be fit and that’s not the type of signing we need with such a small squad.

    Probably because he couldn’t find a club stupid enough to pay him for hoofing the ball in the air and causing general mayhem in his own penalty box
