  1. Kieran Offord signs on loan until the end of the season. Not a player I know personally, but a quick Google search shows that he is a Striker, with previous Loan experience at East Stirlingshire (13 goals in 18 games), Alloa ( 3 goals in 13 games) and earlier this season at Edinburgh City where he scored 2 goals in 19 games. Anyone, shed any light on how they think he will do for us??
  2. Although 8th in the league, I think we are well positioned to achieve, what was our ultimate aim. With what is going on at Edinburgh, and with them being 10 points away from us, really it's ourselves and Annan battling it out to avoid that dreaded Play Off spot. 7 points clear of them gives us a nice wee safety cushion, but we've got to ensure that stays in tacked and if we can climb up, then wonderful. I think Kelty is the key game of the 4 and the "must win one" although it's by no means a must win game. If we can pick up a point from Montrose and/or Hamilton then great, but I think Young and Co will have Kelty at Home as a 3 pointer as they'll surely be the team that we are looking to catch.
  3. Rune Lindbaek - Sweet & Sexy
  4. Yeah, we bought them and used them at the start of last year
  5. It is, especially when we have covers to prevent such things
  6. Was thinking exactly the same thing @WattersIsGod. I thought with giving them a designated section of the Stand then ultimately giving them the whole terrace really, I thought this would grow but it's done the opposite and they have now totally disappeared. I have no idea why, but have wondered if the Police or Club had intervened after a few issues.....I don't know, just seems a little odd. The club certainly do the right things, in getting into the Community, but I wonder if we have the resources to turn that into people attending matches. I thought the offer of Junior Academy Season Tickets was a step in the right direction but can only assume the uptake on that was extremely poor, as that section is empty. This thread has gone off topic, but it's good to chat about what has come out in it.

  8. Fantastic, thank you @welshbairn, I'll pass that website on. Very much appreciated
  9. My mistake, when I read your original post, I read it as media speculation and not fan speculation.
  10. No reason why not, they took about that amount to Forthbank earlier in the season for a Friday Night League Cup match that was on the TV.

  12. I'm asking on behalf of someone else, but does anyone know of any TA buses, or buses in general, that are leaving the Fife/Central Belt area that are going over?
  13. Like wise. Could it be because there are no International games being played at the moment?
  14. A Freudian slip of a man who has always wanted to play for Scotland but never been selected, or an intentional one from someone, who doesn't feel he belongs because he sees himself as being English.....but it doing what he can to be involved because he qualifies???
  15. To be fair, it's the same all across Scotland. In my last job, I worked for a Fife based company, all but 3 people employed were from the Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Kelty area and with the exception of 1 Dunfermline fan, they were all Rangers or Celtic supporters that would regularly travel to Ibrox or Parkhead. It's everywhere and it sets our football backwards in my opinion. How can you expect clubs to grow?? I worked in England for 12 years and it was refreshing to see the majority of people support their home town football club. My son is in S2 and on Boxing Day we were chatting about it. Like when I was at school, he was telling me that he's one of the few Non-Old Firm fans that he knows, but he doesn't know 1 of them that actually goes to games. So there lies the problem. People claim to support a team, but they don't go to watch that team, and they won't actually go out and watch any local football either, baffling to me!!

  17. Although i do agree with you. I think this takes things down the route of "who would you clear out" rather than who would be the obvious candidates to go. Last year, it was clear by January that Danny Burns wasn't wanted by Young and it was the case, however I don't see that in the current squad. Maybe that's down to the injury list and having a small squad, but if you were to say now....who will be the next player to leave he club....I wouldn't have a clue. As for, who would I show the door too....2 of the players you mentioned would be on my list, and I would also have to say that, after having high hopes for them early doors, both of our main summer signings are flattering to deceive a little and we really need to demand more out of them.
  18. Callum Crane has also joined ourselves. It was announced just before Christmas and he can play from today of course https://www.stirlingalbionfc.co.uk/callum-crane-new-signing/ No other news of comings or goings, however Darren Young has said that he would like to boost the squad with 1 or 2. Total speculating, but there’s nobody that I would say would be an obvious leaver, so I wouldn’t be too surprised to see nobody leave, with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 of the youngsters going out on loan.
