So they must have paid the new signings a fee and ignored the players from last season!!! A sham of a football club, the sooner they go out of existence the better for football. C’mon The Rose

Annan gearing up for next season!
bravehearts dad replied to Solway Star's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
Well done Annan, will miss the days out down there next season. Annan were my tip to win the League this season , but I’ll take promotion as a good second best. C’mon The Rose -
Blimey me it’s Saturday and no football fix, no play off, Cup finals this year, but at least we have another season in the SPFL. It a bit quiet regarding players leaving, staying etc, but respect to the club as I imagine the player are still contracted till end of May/June. Will renew my season ticket next week and whet the appetite for next season. C’mon The Rose

Just coming to my senses now after a great day at NDP yesterday. Best performance of the season, best game of the season, best league crowd of the season and survival after our first season in the SPFL. Great team performance from all the lads and congratulations to all. Roll on next season now. C’mon The Rose

From the table below that’s an average of 372 per more per game for The Rose than the rip off merchants at East Fife. 372 fans that won’t pay your £18 entry 372x £10 = £3720 per game 372x£0 in your clubs case =ZERO That to me is a lot of money over the season. See you at Value for money NDP next season hic, hic, hic. C’mon The Rose

So the poorest team and biggest slope pitch( according to a few correspondents of this thread) have made it to the last game of the season. It sure has been tough but we have not been embarrassed, we have been the best supported team in the League. All results at NDP are possible today along with results elsewhere, but at 4.50pm today I expect us to still be in SPFL2. The early morning mist is lifting and it is very still, I look forward to the match. C’mon The Rose

Champions v Loons
bravehearts dad replied to headthebaw's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
And you had the nerve to disrespect the Bonnyrigg fans for throwing Crêpe paper streamers last Saturday. I rest my case. C’mon The Rose -
Well we have made it to the final away League match of the season today. It’s been a great adventure visiting all the new grounds this season and welcomed by most fans. We have had some great results away from home since Christmas and here’s hoping it can continue for one last match and results elsewhere help us rather than a nail biter next Saturday. Our fans have been excellent this season and I look forward to the last League away day of the season with the faithful. C’mon The Rose

Forfars going down v some junior outfit
bravehearts dad replied to C_titz's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
Your disrespect for other clubs is beyond belief. May I remind you that is now 8pts we have taken from your club this season 2-0, 1-1, 1-1, 1-0 to remind your memory. The Rose also earned their place in the SPFL and are by far the best supported team in the League. So crawl back into the hay barn and throw away your technology. Bye, and good riddance. C’mon The Rose -
Soon be on the road to Forfar. Let’s hope we can keep our unbeaten tag this season against them. Everyone knows we have to score goals to win games, and I feel that is what we have to do today. Robbie will surely have them wound up after last weeks quiet performance against the Sons. Look forward to a good day out. C’mon The Rose

Bonnyrigg Rose vs Dumbarton
bravehearts dad replied to microdave's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
It’s a fine day in Boomtown. Looking for another clean sheet today and score a goal to get 3pts for the Rose and move further away from the relegation zone. C’mon The Rose- 73 replies

On my way to Ochilview with a smile on my face after the last 2 week’s victories. I hope it’s still there and maybe bigger come 4.50pm this afternoon. We have cut out the silly expensive mistakes and goals the last couple of weeks. The big wish now of course is to score more than 1 goal in the game. Previous games have been loose and I see no difference today. C’mon The Rose

Well it’s back to the Boomtown Bernebeau this afternoon after a great victory and 3pts away to Albion Rovers last Saturday. We seem to have cut out the silly mistakes of earlier in the season and losing early goals. Stranraer are the team we have gained most points from this season and hope we can get 3 more points today. It would be great if we could score more than 1 goal , but in saying that 3 goals in 3 games away from home have earned us 9 very welcome points. Expect the fans to be up for this one. C’mon The Rose

Whilst catching up on yesterdays football events I see that Si Ferry was listed on a Celtic Legends squad who played Liverpool Legends at Anfield in aid of the Liverpool Foundation. That will give him plenty bounty for his podcast. C’mon The Rose

So back to NDP today as the season gets to the real business end. Great victory at Elgin two weeks ago and heartbreak at the end of the match at Stirling last week. My hopes do not change:- Don’t lose an early goal (or a late one), no cheap penalties given away, and again we still await some luck , break of the ball and referee decision. It will be the usual tough game and again I look forward to the match. (After watching the rugby of course) C’mon The Rose

Celtic and Hearts B Teams in Lowland League?
bravehearts dad replied to falski's topic in Lowland League
Answer to that question is easy. They are the clubs that have no fans, so take the B teams money and hope they get some fans through their gates when they play them at home. I will save my energy and not name them. C’mon The Rose -
Well it all wrapped up again for the Saturday afternoon trip to Forthbank in Stirling. It was a long trip last Saturday to Elgin but a very happy journey back to Bonnyrigg in the dark. Our matches with Stirling this season have been close affairs and I expect the same again today. C’mon The Rose
-
So some sandwiches and a flask of tea made up for some sustenance for the trip to Elgin today. Scarf and glove and big jacket also a necessity. It’s gonna be a long day out. Whilst on about necessities I have added to my hopes for the match. 1) Don’t lose an early goal. 2) Don’t give away cheap penalties 3) Score more than 1 goal we still have had no breaks or luck after this weeks 2 matches and I still live in hope that will. change before it’s too late. C’mon The Rose

Well it’s still winter jacket scarf and gloves evening for the match tonight. A lot has happened in the 7 months when we deservedly beat them at home on the opening day of the season. We have had little luck with results, incidents and decisions since that opening game, surely our luck will change at some stage. Three points tonight would be massive for us so I keep hoping.. C’mon The Rose

Maybe, but you will be sitting behind your keyboard making your usual cynical comments and not braving the likely chill evening. Ask for a seat on your team bus and get a complimentary ticket from them and have a free day out. Bring your own bridie picnic for your sustinence instead of the 10 day old pies that will be on sale from the Rose pie shed. C’mon The Rose
