The lowland league has had West of Scotland teams in since it was formed and probably more now with relegation from SPFL. It represents EoS, WoS and SoS. The SJFA wanted to run it's own league for the West at same level as the Lowland League and Highland League tier five and above the South. East, South and Lowland were never going to vote for it.
