  1. The Highland League Clubs all expressed a problem with this newly brought in requirement as it is obviously more difficult to get a doctor to attend matches in rural areas.
  2. If you had and lost your card was well and truly marked.
  3. Why bother, what could they do ban you from the following year
  4. Being cynical, promotion to Lowland league would mean certain clubs having to give up their SJFA membership. Would someone who had a top position in SJFA and WoSFL want to expand the way for clubs to be promoted or penalise unlicenced clubs who help keep them there.
  5. That would no you didn't ask and continue to deflect or yes you did and continue to deflect
  6. Talbot apparently had a big game Friday no doubt attended by SJFA officials. Any of their supporters on here get round to asking one of their committee why they are nominating this guy ?
  7. So what things is Alex going to try to make things better ? His plan for a central league was ran by a 100 junior clubs so not everyone might be aware.
  8. Wasn't 16 something imposed by SFA for all leagues feeding into Highland and Lowland league. Given the extension given to Division 1, increasing numbers in leagues would make it more problematic even lower down.
  9. That would kibosh the Strathclyde Cup for a start. 17 clubs in that who are not SJFA or SFA members
  10. The lowland league has had West of Scotland teams in since it was formed and probably more now with relegation from SPFL. It represents EoS, WoS and SoS. The SJFA wanted to run it's own league for the West at same level as the Lowland League and Highland League tier five and above the South. East, South and Lowland were never going to vote for it.
  11. November 2022 he circulated a plan for a Central League to 100 SJFA clubs. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/sfa-chiefs-eye-third-league-28378192 Maybe the selling point was having B teams in it and everyone joining Scottish Junior Cup filling who’s coffers
  12. Question asked and answered. Oh just for context for newcomers. When the Lowland League floated the WoSFL Auchinleck Talbot was the club that issued the statement supporting the SJFA
  13. Three horizontal lines top right, account, ignore users.
  14. The SJFA in fact threaten legal action against those who did say the were leaving. The Daily Record article is still online.
  15. You should see the uproar on our forum when anything clashes with a Scotland game , even some away ones which he isn't on. Wasn't even aware he went to Scotland games.
