I took the "support your local team" thing to mean that if you're lucky enough to be from Arbroath you'd support Arbroath. Or (if luck hasn't smiled on you and) you're from Dundee you'd support one of the teams there etc etc Then you grow up, move away because of work/education/love interest/prison sentence and you take your allegiance with you. As opposed to being born and bred in a town miles away from Glasgow and being an OF follower. PS - I've always been behind the "support your local team" idea. Now I'm not so sure. Having moved to Glasgow for uni and stayed because of work I find myself with 2 kids and their local team is, er.... rangers

And it would likely be straight back out of the CoS with a flea in their ear after what Lord Glennie said: But as we've seen one senior judge type can disagree with another senior judge type's interpretation. So who's to say a third senior judge type won't disagree with the second senior judge type. More money for QC's, less for grass seed.

The Herald spoke to a couple of tax "experts" and one of them said waiting this long isn't unusual. He'd had a case last year that finished in January and the result wasn't issued until August. Wee bit on Good Morning Scotland earlier about RFC(IA). Starts with Billy Dodds being a tit and goes on to talk to Andrew Smith from SoS. Thoroughly enjoyed the "...it would not be the disastrious scenario drama queens like Billy Dodds and Chick Young and the ilk paint it to be..." line Good Morning Scotland link 2hr 16m in.

Apologies if it's been discussed already but could someone explain this bit of the CVA please So lets say the CVA goes tits up because the club are no longer in the cup or the creditors all tick the "f**k Off" box. Does this mean Green gets the results of an approved CVA but without having to pay the creditors? Or what?

One of the relevant Conditions of the offer is 4.22.6 all consents or other requirements of the SPL and SFA having been obtained or complied with so that Rangers Football Club can continue to participate in such domestic leagues and competitions as it currently participates in. So competing in the cup is one of the hinges. I wouldn't like to guess at what the SFA will do now.
