I may have missed it being posted earlier but here's an interesting blog on CVA's from our pals at MLM Solutions taking into account the foregoing analysis, it is clear that the Company has never been able to meet HMRCs conditions for accepting a CVA in the recent frantic months and it would prudent for those involved to anticipate HMRC rejecting the proposal.

Slightly off topic but on Sunday theres a charity game at Maryhill Juniors ground and Chick Young is playing for Dukla Pumpherston. Might be worth going along. Not only do you get to help a good cause you get to hurl abuse at a fud. Now... back to the supposition, pointless bickering and bear baiting.

There might be something in that. According to Prof. David Hillier, Green is running a search fund which is ".... an investment vehicle funded by investors to identify a good opportunity. Will delegate running of club to someone else. Search funds normally want money back within 3-5 years and a return via exit. This means value creation for RFC in that time if successful." (@davidhillier) 3-5 years via CVA might make a return. 3-5 via newco probably won't.

I saw that billion pounds thing as well. I assume HMRC, Ticketus, Rapid Vienna and all the other creditors might have seen it too. What's to stop them saying "Pennies in the pound? Balls to that. We'll hang on until the billion gets here. Thanks for the heads up Charlie."

When asked if they know anything about the 2nd group the reporter said he couldn't say much but ended by saying "Carlisle United" to much hilarity. I may have put 2 and 2 together and come up with £3.5m there.
