If it turns to sleet before 1 I think we'll be fine.

I think the way the club has distributed the Bonnyrigg tickets today worked very well. I wouldn't have been able to get down to the stadium, but could get one online. Can't think of a fairer way so should continue with this moving forward.

I assume the Aerial Disrupter stat has something to do with first contact on headers?

Only got to think back to the Holt season (as manager not DOF) to see why it is important to strengthen, if you can, in January.
Hamilton and Cove will undoubtedly spend, and although that doesn't guarantee that they'll strengthen, I wouldn't want to take the risk of doing nothing and falling behind.
The difference between us signing the type of quality that replaces a starting 11 player, as opposed to the bench, will be in the FSS getting another boost over the next couple weeks.

Just an update on this. Club are not posting out tickets due to time and tickets are only on sale at the club until Friday night as Hamilton need unsold tickets back on Saturday morning. Less than 1000 tickets left and no guarantee of tickets being available for sale at Hamilton on Saturday.
Thank you Hamilton for being such absolute wankers…..
ps. I like others will probably just need to buy a ticket for the home end…..
@Francesc Fabregaswould be great if you could highlight this on this weeks show?
I'd assume that if they need the unsold tickets back it's because they've now decided to sell them at the game.
Tinpot Accies will probably announce it a 2 o'clock on Saturday.

The most bizarre thing about the ticketing issue is Accies fans thinking that what they've done is entirely normal practice.

You'd expect we can come out cash and squad positive through paying off a percentage of McKay's contract and getting a young guy in on loan from the Premiership. All depends on McKay agreeing (and I know I'd be tempted to sit on a contract like his) but I'd say there's a 50/50 chance.
Extending Bisland will need to be included as I'm sure his deal was only until January. Had a shaky game against QotS, and I can't remember if he's played since, but I'd probably look to keep him as full/centre back cover.
We've got 7 players to play in that 3 around the striker so wouldn't be surprised to see 1 leave. Ola, Oliver or a very decent offer for Morrison the most likely I'd suspect.
Depending on how McGinn looks when he returns to training there may be room for another CM. I'd like to think we can see another striker in even without Allan leaving.
Henderson and MacIver have been great, but there may be an option to put most of the transfer budget into one of these positions.
Push to 950+ in the FSS by the end of the month and I can see the above being realistic.

I considered the importance of the FSS to be giving fans a voice
That is still an important part of FSS. Funding might well be the hot topic at the moment because of the position the Club finds itself in, but a vehicle for a strong fans voice must always be the aim.
More members = more funds = louder voice.

We have 850 FSS members. We need 2400. What bit do you not understand?
We don't NEED 2400.
To sustain a title winning budget in League 1/competitive Championship budget it's estimated that an extra 400k a year (over an above expected operational income) would be required. However, at the recent AGM (or maybe the FSS update meeting) the Board said that, because of the work behind the scenes, the club could now operate on a break even budget. In league 1 that may be a hybrid/part-time squad and in the Championship a lower full-time budget, but it could be done.
The FSS (combined with other income generated) has already saved the club, now it's about trying to push forward.

I think TFS would look really good with a low terrace on the east side. Nothing will happen until the Premiership anyway.

Just have to hope their isn't a significant drop off from the 2-year PayPal subs ending over they coming months.

Today is 'Gary Holt' day which sparked one of the largest influxes of new members. Many of whom were on here.
You will receive PayPal cancellation email and a reminder from the FSS later on this evening.

Have they cleared the pitch at Ochilview? There was a game planned there at 10am which was called off.
They called for volunteers to help clear it. Last I heard half the pitch was done.

Doesn't appear to me to have been a huge amount of effort to get it on (like you see at Hamilton or Stenny). I reckon there might be a reason for that.

It’s going back to start of the season. Miller did replace Oliver at HT against Peterhead in the League Cup, and we went on to take control of the game and win convincingly after a poor first half. I’m certain Miller was the straight swap to play in front of the defence that day. Maybe an option.
Nah he came on as the no.10.

After hearing McGlynn's interview I am more than a tad nervous of going up to Montrose with no midfield!

Finn Yeats is the first player I've been desperate to see make it since Sibbs.
Gives absolutely everything.

Problem is.... I remember being in the Brockville Bar when Campbell was being lauded as the new saviour of the club. Just as well KJ and a few others had his card marked.
There will always be a concern when it's not a Falkirk man who is doling out the cash. We certainly don't want to go down the Campbell route again and I have a lot more confidence in our current BoD to make sure that it doesn't.
I seem to remember they went to the BOD with their concerns about Campbell and only escalated it when they were dismissed.
I think you should do the same and hope the outcome is different.

How many more pages is there going to be debating this when nobody on P&B will have a fucking clue whether this is a genuine concern or not.

Don't think you'll get that on P&B.

in terms of the FSS, my opinion only……but now that the shares are all gone, a small % of the monthly subs would go a long way for the Women’s team and should be supported by the FSS committee.
If you're a member send the idea into the committee.

The teething issues ironically had nothing to do with the new streaming provider. Jamie tweeted at some point that it was a hardware issue.
There's a very long story about laptops which I'd rather not go into, which is why the only issues were at away games.
Awww long stories about laptops are my favourite!

Other than the teething issues from the new streaming provider the only difference I've noticed from FTV is the improvement in commentary. That's not a slight on Lewis btw, but Sean genuinely has the ability (and I believe the ambition) to actually forge a career in that role.

The ideal would be to have an engaged, large shareholder(s) within the 3rd leg of the stool. They've got to be on board with the fan ownership vision though.
