Also what was Mcglynns issue in a post match interview saying perhaps Allan has a discipline issue? Sent off for us but on another day gets away with it. At past he was trying to do something about the scoreline.
I took that more to mean that he thought there may be an issue with whoever issues the suspension because Allan's actions didn't deserve a 3 match suspension.

Im due to sit down with Jamie this afternoon for a catch up pod, any questions for him that I’ll add to my list?
Once things start to become a bit more stable in terms of finances what would be the first 'off the field' project he would like to see at the club.

I might be completely wrong but if the board think that they’ll get the minus 400K shortfall made up with FSS subscribers, they need to give themselves a shake.
A few weeks back at the Fan Engagement Day Kenny Jamieson did a presentation and a good chunk of it was related to the 400k shortfall. Previously just about everything the board has said regarding the shortfall has been around the number of FSS subscribers needed to fill it, but it was a bit different this time. He started talking about FSS and the subscriptions increasing, however instead of just focusing on this being used to plug the gap, he seemed to suggest that if FSS began to significantly increase he expected other shareholders (I took it to mean PG and old MSG) would consider investing more too. Therefore we would see all 3 'legs of the stool' providing continual investment.
Seemed to me a much more realistic and desirable way to operate.

It's an impressive total but actual figure (when you take out the free under 12s) would be interesting. That's the number we need to grow.
I seem to remember U18s estimated to be around 1/5th of total sales. Purely assuming that the breakdown of ages will be roughly the same I think an educated guess of 330ish U12s seems fair. Wouldn't think it would be more than that.

It's not really been touched on much by the board, other than a brief mention of 'soft loans' last seasons, but I wonder hope much scope there is for continual investment from the Patrons Group. One of the benefits of the '3 legged stool' is having these slightly more flush fans active in the club, but we haven't really heard much from them since that initial investment.
I expect they have been providing in some way and keeping it behind closed doors, but I'd quite like to find out what they've been doing.

705 if the latest correspondence is up to date. Fantastic effort by all who have contributed.
That would have been about a month ago. I expect with the usual steady build it's closer to 715.

I'm happy with how the opening round of the league cup group stage went mind.

Could do with BPM back even if it was just for some faux positivity.

I think all these ideas for FSS are brilliant and exactly what they should be moving forward. Still feel like priority now has got to be continuing funding of the budget gap. A significant increase in membership and all these ideas become feasible.

Drum is coming in trial period regardless of what's said here. Looking at a total of ~60 in the group to start it off.
Not a fan of the drums myself but I would say that is fair. At this point with the group just starting up there should be no discouragement from the wider support.

- A real chance of an ultras style group happening with the majority of it already been discussed from the fans side, club are open to it and will support it with the necessary space.
- Drums and megaphone are a yes if the group wish to have them, no issues on the club front.
Great! Really hope they can get a good group sorted.
Please no drum.

Sounded like from the Q and A that McGlynn will get the full year no matter how poorly we will get. I rated that question from the guy.
Not what I took from their answer.
It was a diplomatic 'if we got to the point that we were struggling it would assessed'. They then caveated that by saying the assessment hypothetical could show that McGlynn was still the best option.

Give us a sample Bairney.
Personal highlight was asking the board to outline their plans which ensure that every player we sign is also a fan of the club

I will forever applaud the patience of the board at these Q&As. Some of the questions they get asked are mad.

New shares can be created though, which I think they should be if FSS or Patrons wish to invest money in post the last share being sold.
Yeah more could be created but got to make sure that neither FSS or Patrons start to dwarf the other shareholders. 3rd leg of the stool is still important.
Personally I wouldn't want to see either group move past a 33% holding. 26% remains to me the magic number for either group and would be happy at both holding that.

Just watched last nights highlights on FFCTV. The commentator sounded pretty good. Looks like a good replacement has been found
Was just going to mention this too. Felt really professional.

Was it a diamond with Lawal as the 10 and Spencer as the anchor? Or a 4-3-3 with Oliver, Lawal & Spencer in the middle?
The latter.
It was an interesting first half midfield where all 3 seemed to move quite fluidly. Nobody seemed entirely fixed as a 6/8/10. Seemed to work though.

Out of interest, what’s the most prized bit of Falkirk merchandise everyone has?
Not mine...yet.
The in-laws have the boots that scored our only european goal.

I'd expect McGlynn to keep the front 3 and I'd imagine he would want to be able for that 3 to be fairly interchangeable (2 wide and 1 central/a 10 and 2 central) like he did last season. So I count 6 players in the squad who will play across that front 3 in whatever permutation.
Unlikely to see another in unless a big player becomes available.

Technical player who can produce something magic but doesn't give you it anyway near enough to make up for the lack of pace/power/endeavour.
He's like a luxury player...but not actually that good.

During preseason and some the quieter League Cup you could hear the shouts for the fullbacks to switch position with whoever the player inside of them was. I thought it showed McGlynn was learning that last season our positioning was inflexible.
