EE defo more widespread around Inverness/Ding'all and along the A96. In snek I quite often showed 3 4g on the search but wouldn't connect, a few miles on and it did. I can only assume they aren't allowing access to the 800 band as it is a non VoLte phone (even then it would need to be one they support), and only connected to the higher frequency. EE and it grabbed it no bother. I really need to find which app to tell the frequency, so I can test it at dingwall next week for the tic game.

The 900 would only come into play if roaming on EE/old Orange legacy 2g, as 3 only has 3&4g....(and 2600 4g is on their 'to do' list for major urban areas I believe -it would be verrrry short range at that high a frequency) Edit... Confuddled at stoopid o'clock... Vodafone is 900 2g not EE.... but as i said, irrelevant for 3 network..Carry on.... Edit 2 ... Feck me, the Maya Max does Volte as well! That does look indeed like a very nice piece of kit. *** I wasn't that bothered by no Volte on the Umi as I doubt that any network will support a non LG , Sony, Google, Apple, One plus phone for a good few years, until they get their act together.

Aye, worded that poorly. It will easily last a working day, but I download like a bugger during work, so I used to swap the battery to watch at night. Now I don't have that option, a quick charge to take it to 70/80% in half an hour whilst the tea cooks is a boon. Back home so your link would take an hour to load on 2g, just make sure it comes with the charger (check their forums....).

Just an aside X , the one thing (ram , ROM , screen differences aside) that would still veer me to the Umi, is the fast charge. 4000mah battery on a 5.5' screen seems to last similar to a 3000 for a 5'. Going to a 6' without removable battery and no fast charge would give me concern in my situation (no electricity available during the working day). Both mediatek so you'd prolly need to do the volume trick. Wouldn't be put off by the brands, quite happily have them. Good luck
