  1. So my question stands - Castle Huntly , midway between Dundee and Perth, so did St J and the Dundee clubs reject any offer for his "services" or is there some connection to personnel at the Rovers?
  2. One element of this that puzzles me.....where is Kirkcaldy Jail? Assuming he is in Saughton or Perth, why day release so far away?
  3. Make the irnbrucocacolarightsaidfredwhocaresanyway cup the Sixes, four regional weekends (international breaks?) then a national finals event at SECC or similar, sorted!
  4. Eastie as player coach of 20s presumably, or will we see him and fellow 37 year old youth prospect Skacel on the park together? Discuss....
  5. Re the Pars tickets - the Hibs playoff game was sold via the online shop; I ordered and received my ticket in very quick time so am hoping that this will be done again. I work til 5.30 35 miles away and am unable to be at the St Mirren game due to long-standing commitments elsewhere so no online sales would leave me an unhappy chappy
  6. 1 defeat in 4 and out we go, either DU or the Pars will go through, whichever wins their game tomorrow. No 27/11 celebrations this year[emoji20]
  7. Best to park at the Beveridge Park, where supporters buses park for proper games, or the Esplanade - both a few minutes walk, no parking right at the ground.
  8. Johnston signed, Connolly "offered terms"? Ties in with the bit in the Courier earlier in the week naming Grantie as taking part in the upcoming Exit Trials week for free'd players, alongside a certain Dougie Hill amongst 38 players in total.
  9. Is that a Sevco tie that Prince William has on at the FA cup final? Irony....
  10. BBC coverage cringeworthy as usual, haf Sevco won the Hibs would have been dismissed as gallant losers whilst the beeb guys fawned all over the "history"......
  11. Seriously, like many I am underwhelmed re Locke to be honest; mind you a lot of folk were less than enthusiastic this time last year re Ray, and who can forget the vitriol when Take signed a few years back?
  12. Now we have the Barrs, can we have Irn Bru sponsoring us and get a smart away strip?
  13. Ordered ticket for Wednesday online at 8.15am yesterday, arrived 1st class post today - job done with no need for an 80 mile round trip, well done Rovers.
  14. Well, it would appear that kev23 knows me and has decided I am not a Rovers fan.....all these memories of games attended over these last 48 years are just dreams.....was heading down Sat for only my second game of the season but may just keep my cash in my pocket and watch rugby on telly instead :-)
  15. I live nearly 40 miles from Kdy, and my daughter is another 35 miles further away; to do as I did back as a single guy in the 70s/early 80s and go to the Rovers (home and away) then the Flyers at night is no longer practical or affordable. Sadly it is choice time; said daughter ( late 20s) has health problems which the heated lounge with comfy seats at the rink are better for than sitting outside at football. Therefore I have to choose my Rovers games carefully whilst enjoying hockey with my daughter.....would love to be able to do both.
  16. James McFadden freed by St Johnstone.....would he get a game ahead of Lewis?? On a more serious note, Gary Miller also free from SJ, would be a top signing , plays anywhere along back 4
  17. Just seen the news about Turnbull Hutton on the official website. Puts all other chat into perspective. Thoughts with the gentleman's family at this time
