McIntyre is a raging currant, he'll be glad Stewart is persona non grata so that he doesn't have to make further apologies. -

Did anyone look at Pemberton's tweets?

Have to concur, anyone who hasn't seen Psychoville should make it their next binge. Make sure you watch the Halloween special after series 1 but before series 2.

Alternate history of Scottish football
Arch Stanton replied to GNU_Linux's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
The town of Falkirk, with a population of around 35000, used to have two football clubs, Falkirk FC and East Stirlingshire. Now it doesn't have any. -
How fucking brilliant was that!

It was the steelwork of the Love St end that Morton bought. I haven't been in Greenock for a few years but when I worked there you could easily see the white steelwork lying behind the Cowshed as you drove along Sinclair St.

As I said earlier, the stadium is over 11 years old now. There have been a few changes since the original construction The small astro 5-a-side pitches behind the North Stand have been replaced by one large pitch inside the airdome. the raised disabled section in the Main Stand the fitting out of the 'void' in the Main Stand to host the 1877 Club. Yeah, it was built to a fairly basic spec but GLS made sure it had small changes made to make it suitable for UEFA events such as the 5 flagpole requirement, an international standard sized pitch, 13 seats in the dugouts etc. The Tesco deal (and the smaller, more basic stadium) also allowed the building of the training facilities at Ralston.

The stadium is now over 11 years old so hardly a new build. There is a bar within the Main Stand called The 1877 Club and it's members only before the game and usually open to all afterwards. I went straight back into town immediately after the game so don't know if the 1877 was open to all or not.

Not to be pedantic but many of Willie Telfer's St. Mirren appearances were during WW2 and are 'unofficial'. Hugh Murray is the official record holder with 468.

No Michael Stewart again. -
Typical penny pinching from St. Mirren when they have to share the gate takings. Mind this game? http://www.stmirrenprogrammes.co.uk/StMirren/STM_Match_Details.php?Season=2005&GameID=200509270 Yeah, the TF stand was sparse and the West had gaps but there was way more than the official attendance of 4400-odd.
