  1. I believe in cryptocurrencies as a whole, there’s no chance they’ll just die out IMO. Some types of crypto will, definitely but not all of them altogether. I’ve spread my investments out accordingly. I do see your point but I’m riding the wave atm
  2. Nobody knows in the crypto world, some say bitcoin for example is a bubble and some say it’s not. Crypto is the future though, read what Anton Antonopolous (100% spelled wrong) has to say as he’s as neutral a person as you’ll find on the topic. It’s here to stay. Will the bitcoin price keep going as ludicrously high? Probably not. Is bitcoin even the future of crypto? My opinion is no, it’s got a lot of flaws. But there’s many other cryptocurrencies that will come to the fore, and it’s just about keeping an eye on those alternative coins. I’ve no idea how much you know on the topic but it’s utterly fascinating imo. Ripple XRP is a good one, they’re pretty much looking to replace SWIFT payments and have guys on their board that are ex SWIFT.
  3. All my investments are in crypto currency or firms related to them I have bitcoin, ripple xrp, ethereum and Iota. I’ve also got shares in Coinsilium, a company that invests in blockchain technology pretty much. Only been at it for a month but if I sold up now I’d have made £1k so it’s been a good return (so far). Ultimately, only invest money you’re prepared to lose
  4. McInnes staying seemingly. No idea what to think. Nice to see the media look stupid though.
  5. Anyone know if Celtic have agreed a deal with Morgan?
  6. Yeah I’ve been reading that it’s pretty much unusable for Americans now. I use Binance generally, they seem the most reliable. I recommend Exodus wallet by the way. They don’t hold IOTA yet (but plan to in the future) but funnily enough I think that works in our favour, as, once iota is compatible with mainstream wallets the price will go up further.
  7. Yeah absolutely! Microsoft, Bosch and Samsung are huge backers to have. I tried to put £300 more in Iota a few days ago, bought the ethereum to do so but, upon transferring from bitstamp to many wallet, it’s just disappeared. Bitstamp having huge problems according to the reddit page, so that’s a bit of a hurdle...
  8. Even if McInnes stays, it's difficult for him now. He's tried to be careful with his words in the media but it's dragged on for so long, everyone knows exactly what he's doing. He's not explicitly ruling himself out of the Rangers job for good reason. It'd take a lot to win the fans back over and I don't think he's got it in him. Would be nice to just draw a line under it and move on now.
  9. Did you get ripple in the end? It’s very slowly creeping up. Bitcoin continues to smash it. I also got Iota after researching it on your recommendation, I genuinely think it’s the future. Put in about £100 worth at $1.25 and it’s now $1.51 so long may it continue! Once I’ve been paid I’ll be firing a bit more in to Iota.
  10. Won two consecutive league titles with Aberdeen, and reached the last 16 of the Europa League. Can’t take them much further, so I left while my stock is high and took over at Newcastle which seems like a good challenge. If you can ever get Eddie Nketiah on loan then you have to, and play him as an Advanced Forward
  11. 3-0 up at half time in the Bernabeu - you couldn't make it up! Oh.
  12. Won the league with Aberdeen in my second season. Made it to the CL groups and beat Zenit 6-3 in my first game. Kind of disappointed with how I’m playing the game as I’ve got about 9 young players on loan from the big EPL teams which is rather unrealistic and they’re just too good for the league. Players like Phil Foden, Rhian Brewster, Nketiah, Angel Gomes and a few more. It’s fun, but I think I’ll jump ship at the first opportunity.
  13. Ripple is one of the 'big 4' - i.e. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Ripple. It's essentially looking like it'll replace SWIFT payments in the future. The big risk is that something better and more cost-effective than Ripple comes along. See link - https://ripple.com/xrp/ I've not heard of Iota, that'll be this afternoon's reading.
  14. I've got Bitcoin and Ripple. MIssed the boat on Bitcoin really, but Ripple could be an earner. Worth looking in to. I actually had £20 of Bitcoin in April 2015 (but spent it on...stuff...). Would've been worth £1000 today! Oh well.
  15. I agree, and it's for this reason I'm not particularly fearing him leaving. And that seems to be the general consensus among the support. There's no denying he's done a fantastic job but it could definitely be better.
  16. Scott Wright is a bit of a #worldie on this
  17. Having an eerily similar season go Aberdeen’s a couple of years ago. Started the season strongly, unbeaten in 8 or 9, before getting hammered 0-4 at home to St Johnstone and going on a 5 game streak without winning. Since that blip in October, I’ve gone unbeaten (now in February). Sitting in 2nd but we’re miles off the top as expected. Signed Lewis Morgan on a permanent deal, and my loan star Jeff Reine-Adelaide has been fantastic too.
  18. I'm just getting into photography now. I had a bridge camera to start me off (which ended up breaking and I got a full refund, a minor blessing). I've just purchased a proper DSLR, a Nikon D3400. Not had much of a chance to use it yet and am just getting started now. Aperture, ISO and shutter speed all means very little to me - who/what are the best YouTubers, websites, blogs etc I should be looking towards? Thanks! Here's some snaps I got with the bridge camera, in the mean time.
  19. Darian MacKinnon was playing junior football until he was 26 #DreamsDoComeTrue
  20. It's an idea that the group I was with came up with, that we could actually become some sort of bespoke travel arrangers/ tour guides. It's incredibly unrealistic, though...you never know.
  21. To clarify, are you suggesting I set up some sort of travel company? I wouldn't know where to start!
  22. Not too far from there - not going to say exactly where on a public forum! I actually spent a bit of time around the area last year due to my girlfriend living near to there last year. My big thing is making friends though... would like to get into a football team but I've not played 11 a side in about 5 years
  23. This is what I was looking for! I'm a bit unsettled about it as I kind of want to live abroad now, but I'm going to give my job in Edinburgh a bash and so hopefully I do love it. I know it'll be better than Aberdeen anyway.
