Hardly. If its restated at current market value the increase would cover some of the accumulated trading losses and.make the balance sheet look a lot healthier. Maybe Toby could explain why his hero, our vastly experienced accountant, hasn't advocated that after splashing out £80k on turnstile software to facilitate real time management accounts.

The club is always going to get a qualified going concern report as long as the inter-company debt exists. If the parent company with its new directors decides to charge ijnterest on the debt then to reach a break even point the playing budget would probably need to be reduced to ten bob. On the other hand the last time I looked the stadium etc was included in the accounts at a. 1999 value. We need a proper accountant.

Am hearing that Connahs Quay"s star defender knocked you back as he didn't fancy stepping down to a Diddy we club with a racist, hooligan support,

What can you do against the lunatic who is more intelligent than yourself, who gives your views a “fair” hearing and then persists with his lunacy. Problem is this numpty doesn’t s want to give you the oxygen in which to air your views Winston, he just conspires with his minions to have your account totally expunged.

Come on, the way McKinnon, Falkirk and their advisers conducted themselves on this has been absolutely shameful. I am certainly no apologist for the Morton Board particularly the minority shareholding hangers on. Having announced a three year plan a decision to appoint McKinnon on a one year contract sat at variance with the stated ambition. He is a competent manager but nothing more, certainly not top tier material. The natural inference would seem that neither party was particularly keen on the other so the relationship was probably doomed from the start as was the so called three year plan. . I don’t imagine for a minute that McKinnon had complete autonomy on the constitution of the squad or some of the signings but he would have known that came with the job. McKinnon had his chance at the SFA hearing to explain things but conduct himself in such a way that his evidence was regarded as being unreliable.

We certainly are as long as we can’t create let alone score goals. Its not just the manager that’s the problem though. The Board set the coach’s job specification and competence profile in line with its business model. JJ got the job because the Board thought his skill set was the best fit for that. The Board are not in the market for the best manager around. Nor are they prepared to grant the manager autonomy on the composition of the playing staff etc and to back that person with a realistic budget to achieve his ambition. It’s now all about 7/7/7, youth and sustainability. A new manager is going to have to swallow that crap. We are driven by unimaginative process monkeys and risk averse management accountants so we are not about to appoint Dave Bassett any time soon.

Maybe our Commumications Officer, just for once, could interview the likes of Rae, Hawke, Robinson Houston etc and ask them some strategic questions, like what’s happened to the three hundred year plan, instead of just dishing out endless Vlogs of JJ’s dolorous droning. Enough of mushroom management.

Makes sense I suppose. Tidser is good at penalties and Falkirk have at least £60k worth incoming. i assume he took a nasty bang on the head at Christmas. No one with the slightest grain of self regard would rush to sign a PCA with that rag bag outfit given where they are and the dross they signed last window. If he has put pen to paper it’s a self admission that his career is in decline.
