Miller scores 8 goals last year in a shite Dundee team in a higher league to us. He is definitely worth signing for a year, look at the impact McDonald made and many on this forum were slagging him off before he had kicked a ball. If we do get Miller we still require another goal scorer or 2 in the squad.

It doesn’t look like Rudden has traveled to Portugal with the Rangers squad, a few young players mentioned but he wasn’t one of them. Could be reading it wrong but I would have thought if he was in Gerard’s plans he would have gone to their pre-season training camp.

We will get at least £340k if Stoke pay £2million for LL, how anyone can turn this into a negative is unbelievable. If he stayed another year at Barnsley and left we would get the grand sum off fck all, therefore let’s be happy (I know for some posters on here that’s impossible at the moment) about the fact we will shortly have over £300k that we won’t have budgeted for and as such it may help us get a couple of players that may be the difference in our promotion push. Great appointment by Killie, take some time and research this guy, he is a top coach respected all over Europe. He has coached the top players and has unbelievable contacts. It’s fantastic that he is coming to Scottish football and here’s hoping he continues the Killie mantra from last season getting it right up the Old Firm

Manpreet ignore the negativity wee man, you and your mates have done a few displays which have been excellent the one at Ibrox in particular. So keep up what you’re doing regardless of who we are playing. What an absolute pile of fucking shite this is. The most in depth communication we have had from any chairman in the last 50 years yet the Firhill malcontents can still find something negative to say. Unbelievable and if you’re that unhappy with how things are being run or communicated why not contact the club directly instead of criticising and hiding behind a forum?

Unfortunate and sad that people have lost their jobs today, however it’s a reality of business that when revenue is reduced action needs to be taken and 9/10 times it results in people losing their jobs. For a football club the priority is maximising the player budget in order to turn around the fortunes of the football and thus generate more income. A reality of any business I’m afraid.

Super achievement on and off the park by Killie a well deserved 3rd place. More importantly SC’s stance regarding the OF was and is an absolute breath of fresh air as was his stance re sectarianism. Can understand Killie fans being absolutely gutted if he takes the Scotland job, however it’s the SFA we’re talking about here and we all know they are partial to the odd monumental f**k up so SC might not leave after all.

Another thing worth mentioning re GC, is that his substitutions are miles better than AA’s ever were. On Saturday 1-0 up with 20 minutes to go GC could have thrown McGinty on to shore up and defend what we had ( something AA would have done), instead he brought on 2 strikers McDonald and Mansell and went for the 2nd goal, I also think that GC is more tactically astute.

Caldwell’s transfer dealings have been really good IMO; Out Melbourne, Mtumbo, Quitongo, Jeffries, Scobie, Ntambwe, Keown In Harkins, Hazard, Cardle, Saunders, Anderson, McMillan, Roy, Mansell probaly missed a few but you get the general idea, I think we are in a better place squad wise than we were when GC came in.

Keown has hardly played this season, he was excellent in his first season with us when on loan from Reading. We then signed him permanently at the start of last season and he has been a bombscare ever since. I definitely think we got the better of that deal

The rumour is that he is coming on loan, he sounds like just the player we need right now and glad to hear he is 4th choice CB because at his age he will want to be playing more, although not sure a shitfest at the bottom of the Championship is what he’ll have in mind

Is Anderson getting much game time just now? He would be a superb signing for us. Not so sure you would want Keown though !!!!

The Caldwell out brigade must be seething watching Caldwell simultaneously get rid of all the Archie dross signings, dropping McGinty, giving Fitzpatrick a run in the team

Agree re Penrice he needs a break our weak link at the back is now down the left side whereas unti Elliott s improvement it was down the right
