McCart had a big falling out with Barry Wilson the other week apparently, hence he not starting the last couple of games. Seemingly it was over Wilson's coaching, which I have heard in the past, is pretty poor.

McCart is a better defender than Donaldson. There aren’t many left footed ball playing centre backs in Scottish football really and he’ll slot into any low/mid Premiership defence no problem.

I’ve finally gotten round to watching it. Think I raised a faint smile once as it was absolute rubbish. The guy from Taggart turning up constantly became quite tragic and then to make things worse, Michelle McManus appears!

I mean he wasn't rubbish by any means and he did play for Romania at Euro 2008 (despite only scoring ten goals for us - two of which were against Arbroath!), but he was on a huge wage. I suppose we did get about £100,000 for him from Dinamo so I guess it did kind of work out.

In the first few months he was playing at left back and looked absolutely horrid, it was only when a player shortage saw him moved into central midfield that he actually looked a player.
