    The Walking Dead

I've saw up to ep 5 and it is a marked improvement on previous series. Busta has the right idea to blast through the middle series episodes coz watching week to week does drag it out somewhat....
  2. The TNG, DS9 and Voyager spin offs haven't dated very well.

    Scottish U21 Cup

The Scottish Secondary Juvenile FA changed its name to the Association of Scottish Youth Football Clubs in 1986, later merging with the rump Scottish Juvenile FA and the Scottish Amateur FA's youth section in 1999 to form the Scottish Youth FA. The last Secondary Juv. Cup was played in 1986 but does anyone know the winners of the subsequent Scottish U21 Cup, aka Scottish Youth Cup, between 1986 and 2011 (where the SYFA website picks up)? (This was mistakenly posted in the Junior forum) Cheers
  4. Hunter Hunter I was actually looking for another film but this had piggybacked on the stream. A strange film, its a mix of various storythreads that ultimately fizzle out until the gruesome finale.
  5. Download clublist1 from here http://sfha.org.uk/club-directory.htm You can manipulate the spreadsheet so that the Lanarkshire clubs are lumped together and from that you can whittle it down to individual towns

    The Walking Dead

Just watched the first episode and was pleasantly surprised. The pace has picked up and a good cliffhanger. Obviously I hope the next episodes keep the momentum going and the series doesn't lag again.
  7. Clovehitch Killer Seen this a few times and know it inside out!
  8. Just rechecking this... are the pre 1980/90s listings actually winners of the Perthshire Amateur Cup? Some press clippings I've seen tend to lend cresceden to this. Cheers
  9. I quite like listening to their drivel as its entertaining. But to rather eat a pot noodle is beyond the scope.
  10. Any time someone sneaks into a house the racket from the door or window being shut is ear piercing, yet the occupiers don't hear a thing.
  11. I'm looking forward to this, I first read The Silmarillion about 40 years ago and loved it. Some may find it a bit dry but is as stated above firstly a creation myth and the middle chapters concerning the War of the Silmarils are more fleshed out in Unfinished Tales and later books. The tales of march of the Elves from the West to reclaim the Silmarils, the wars with Morgoth, the Fall of the hidden city of Gondolin, the Battle of Unnumbered Tears. Epic stuff.

    The Shield

Classic anti-heroes. Re the hidden comment... he did kinda get the short straw considering he only really came into it in the latter seasons!

    The Shield

I've watched the whole series twice many years back and if anyone hasn't then you must, it is one of the greatest shows ever made. You root for Mackie and his team all through the series but by the last episode you feel suckered after you realise how corrupt they really were!

    Mare of Easttown

I never saw her with any birds...
  16. Till Death I'm not a big fan of Megan Fox but she was good in Jennifer's Body and this is an enjoyable thriller. Set in a snow bound cabin, some of the scenes certainly defy belief but is worth a look at. Saving Zoe on the other hand... you can see the plot opening up miles in front of you. Best to avoid.
  17. The reverse is a man has never used a gun before and even after 10 hours training still cant hit the can...
  18. The brilliant Sleeper springs to mind but that was part of the gag.
  19. Saw the Sheridan series last night and it is head and shoulders above the Netflix effort. The police investigation was a calamity from day one.
  20. Elize Matsunaga Yet another Netflix series that could have been done in one extended episode. The actual story of the murder was interesting but there was too much filler about the Brazilian legal and jail system and domestic abuse in general. Plus there was too much waffling about the case with different talking heads repeating the same stuff over and over.

    Doctor Who

If I remember right, this was one reason the series was created for in the 1960s.
