I don't think they generally consider things like logistics and public transport when compiling the fixtures (look at our forthcoming Saturday 7.20pm cup tie at Dundee for example) but to be honest, you get it far worse than we do.

Oops - wrong thread.

Gaun the Desmond!

He was a bit older and it was pretty faded so I'm guessing he got it done in a daft moment when he was young (to give him the benefit of the doubt).

A small aside- I popped into the Tesco near the ground after the game to get a few things and for the first time in my life saw someone with the Love / Hate knuckle tattoo. I thought this was a bit of an urban myth but obviously not in Kilmarnock.

Just watched the start of tonight's show and there's no Jonathan Sutherland so it's presented by Stephen Thompson who starts off by looking at the wrong camera and needing to be told to start talking by Stewart. Bizarrely it's not been edited out- I can only assume they either don't care, think the amateur attempt is amusing or are deliberately trying to make Thompson look a twat.

Hadn't really thought about it but it's pretty weird that we've only drawn one game this season and that was the first. Looking back, that draw at Livingston was a pretty decent result.

Yeah, I was surprised when the assistant flagged for a corner. As strange as it was for Collum to over-rule him, I think he got it right. The goal kick decision at the end was correct I think - pretty sure the ball came off Scott's leg and bounced out.
I have to assume the fourth official gave some sort of signal to Collum when O'Donnell with Hylton scampering free. Looked an odd decision, particularly with the assistant referee not flagging for anything.
Much as Killie can feel aggrieved for not taking something with the chances they had, we should really have put the game to bed. Long had no need to tap Hylton's shot in and I'm not even convinced he was offside- would need to see again. Long should really have rolled the ball to Scott for an easy finish at the late breakaway as well.0 -
At the risk of getting a bit Rocky Horror, he takes a (slight) step to the left but then doesn't step back to the right. Carroll got some whip on it but, sitting behind it, we all thought the keeper should have done better.

Unfortunately no cup wins to brag about so it has to be Lionel Ainsworth emphatically scoring the third goal at Ibrox in the play off.

Let the wild speculation commence.

That would depend on how good he is now. Peak Jamie Murphy would obviously be top of that list but where does he rank on current form? Has he even been playing reserve games?

Can we all accept a draw now then and just stay indoors where it's nice and warm?

Where is this magical place you speak of?
I picked up another two bottles today at £2 each from a wee supermarket on Maryhill Road (Best Buys or something like that) in anticipation of a hangover on Sunday morning. They've got crates of the stuff left.0 -
I assume this is the fallout from the Bois not being allowed to take a previously approved banner into Fir Park last week when it was deemed too large. Rather than discuss the matter the club/ safety officer has just banned all flags- seems a well-considered approach.Nae flegs.

I've seen some very strange things in there. I don't think anyone would have batted an eyelid at that.

We needed that seeing as Broadfoot missed the game on Wednesday.

I can only assume he didn't the full back off to the side and near the bye line as he was so far ahead of Campbell and out of his line of vision. Should really be doing better though with more awareness.Wow the disallowed goal decision is plain crazy.0 -
And we were still annoyed at him getting a soft booking and Dallas seemed to lose his cards afterwards.

I got laughed at at the game on Wednesday for my pessimistic attitude but my first target is avoiding relegation and then seeing if we can get top 6. There's a split formed in the league so if we can keep up some decent form we could potentially have both of these pretty much in the bag by the winter break (which would have been an absolutely wild thought at the beginning of the season).

Anyone else noticed the warning on the label saying the additives could affect kids' behaviour. Was this on before or is it on any of the other variants? Probably just confirming what we already knew but probably put down to the sugar.

That photo is tremendous. Can we just ban any other photos being posted so that stays as the cover photo forever?

Robinson was pretty open in a recent interview about prioritising pace when signing new players as other attributes can be coached. You could see last night that it makes a real difference against a certain level of team.
The danger is you bring in guff just because they're fast but we've had a few successes although they take a while to develop. Johnson and Humphrey were far better players when they left us and Hylton already looks much better. He dropped out the team when Seedorf was favoured but has obviously worked hard in training and Seedorf now needs to follow that example.0 -
For those St. Mirren fans that left early, you did manage a shot on target in the 90th minute although it was an easy enough save. You really should have scored in injury time though when you hit the post and then shot the rebound straight at Gillespie when your striker had all the time in the world.
After another slow start I thought we were in complete control with Hylton and Scott a constant threat. I was impressed by Mugabi (one challenge in the second half in particular) - did anyone hear if there was a reason for Hartley missing out?
Robinson obviously started with Scott to win the high balls against the left back but it quickly became clear he could easily beat him on the deck also and he gave him a torrid time.
The only downside for me that Seedorf didn't look up for it at all when he came on. You would have thought he would be looking to make an impression up against a demoralised defence but he didn't put in much effort at all.

Hearts vs Hibs - a Boxing Day Derby

Turned this on a few minutes ago, what's the "No Surrender Michael Smith " song about when he was taking a throw? Oh, and there's a second goal for Hibs. Well taken by Boyle.
