I'm slightly surprised at that as I thought he looked alright when he came on as a sub against us. Certainly better than anyone else they had up front but that's not saying much.I see that’s Danny Johnson away back down south to Leyton Orient.
Did we have any sell on? I mean, it’s likely to be a small % of virtually f-all (if anything) but even a few grand could be used to top up a short term offer to a new forward... Hiya Tony [emoji112]

You need to phone to get a ticket through well society membership. I would imagine they'll now have your details or be able to check. Worth a try.I have just done that now. Not had any e-mail confirmation through yet right enough.0 -
Or you could get yourself a Well Society membership.
Am I the only one who wouldn't touch Tony Watt with a barge pole?0 -
Omeonga picked up a booking for a number of fouls and then fouled Donnelly in the air for a ball he had no chance of getting. Dangerous challenge and I've seen cards for similar before although a red would have been harsh overall. It did seem to quieten him done though and I doubt if he committed more than two fouls in the rest of the game.

Kamberi did something like that 5 minutes earlier on the left wing when he tried to flick the ball on and somehow pirouetted and knocked the ball out. You could see what he was trying though whereas the one on the right was inexplicable. He didn't even need to beat his man- just knock the ball inside. That was actually Boyle. I don't know how he managed that either. If it was Kamberi, I'd understand, he'd accidentally knock the ball out of play when trying a triple-bypass stepover with a double somersault but normally Boyle merely uses the fact he's twice as fast as everyone else to get past players.0 -
One pigeon nearly intercepted a back pass to Gillespie which would have let the Hibs player in. In the second half, did we actually manage to hit a bird with the ball? Looked like it.

Agree- stunning save but I actually thought Seedorf was a lot better than he has been of late.
Really enjoyed a good open game today and although I thought we were the better team we just couldn't score. Unfortunately pre-match fears on that front proved correct.
Does Boyle normally play in that position as he was surprisingly ineffective? I expected him to be more advanced.
Special mention to the Hibs player (Kamberi?) in the second half who was played down the wing and only had to knock it inside to Horgan to send him through unchallenged on goal. How he managed to hit it in the opposite direction and out for a shy is beyond me.0 -
Factoring in our recent experience with Accies, maybe they aren't as bad as everyone thinks they are.Hopefully the Hibs side that turned up in the 1st half against Accies turns up tomorrow because they were dugmeat.
If the Hibs side from the 2nd half turn up, we could be in bother.0 -
Both teams looking to maintain momentum after good wins midweek. I tend to look forward to games between the sides as they're normally quite entertaining. Never know what score to predict though.

Watching the highlights, I couldn't see the Red Shed standing area mentioned from the weekend. What area of the ground is it? Interesting to see how this goes and how other clubs adopt it.

Finished 1-0. Massive (and unexpected) 3 points for the Well!

Willie Miller wasn't saying much in his half time report. Is that because they're wasn't much to say?

Goal for the 'Well. Header from Liam Donnelly! Just before half-time.

The saddest thing is you wouldn't be able to do that North of the border.B&M my friend I looked like a right fucking jakeball in there I emptied them of bru and T at 9 in the morning
Anyway, I was in Dobbies Braehead on Saturday morning and they had a stack at the exit, £1.99 a bottle. They've now got 2 less.0 -
Our defence looked far from well-drilled on Saturday. I shouldn't really be telling you this but if you just keep it away from big Declan, you'll probably get a goal or two.

I'd agree with you but Seedorf "earned the right " to be nowhere near the team and if Hylton is unavailable then Ndjoli might have been an option.

Dundee certainly had a very good go at confirming your assertion on Saturday.
But there’s a HUGE gap between championship and premiership remember. Championship clubs can’t deal with the might of the premiership.0 -
I was surprised to see Ndjoli playing for the reserves on Monday afternoon as I thought he might have been an option for a starting place. Unless he only played the first half to improve his fitness, I can't see him starting tonight if he played near enough a full game on Monday.I'd say the diamond you mentioned isn't out of the realms of possibility as well as a 3 at the back.
Looking at Hylton struggling with illness, Seedorf's lack of impact on Saturday night and the fact Robinson seems intent in giving O'Hara a run of games, it doesn't seem that unrealistic that we could play Donnelly behind Polworth, Campbell and O'Hara.0 -
We generally carry a large away support for cup games, certainly more than for league games. There is a lot of supporters who come out for these games and treat it as a day out.Going by your support at Dens Park , I imagine you'll have no problem selling all your allocation.
Should be a cracking atmosphere.0 -
Cheers. Sounds like a ticket sale for us then.1633.0 -
I think it's 10% which is less than the stand we get so that rule doesn't help unfortunately. Are you not entitled to a certain percentage of the ground's capacity for Scottish Cup games?0 -
Ticket scramble for Motherwell supporters? What's the capacity of that stand we get behind the goal? About 1500?

Right on cue, he gets done for pace down the wing.

Tidy goal from Hibs. Surprised to see Whittaker playing, never mind in midfield- he looked finished when I saw him against Motherwell earlier in the season.

Do you still have the guy with the long throw-ins? Even if we elect to sit in, I can see us conceding from one of those. Better to take the game up the park.
