    I said earlier that it should be difficult to make a mess of the standard green and white hoop template (but they'd definitely managed it) and that offering demonstrates that. Fairly classic take on their strip. I've not gone into Celtic websites to see the response. Any idea of the general response? Are they accepting it's horrible or is there an emperor's new clothes effect going on?

    I got an email from my supplier advising me their rates are coming down as of today as the cap is reducing. Strangely my work colleagues don't seem to have received similar advice from their suppliers. My supplier is also reducing their rate to 5% below the cap (although a cheeky wee rise in the standing charge offsets that). Are we getting back to the days of shopping around?

    What level are this team we were up against last night? Strangely we seem to have less people there on the piss for a Friday night game than we did on Tuesday when everyone looked wrecked.

    I know it was suggested Casey was waiting to hear if there's interest from England but I'd be surprised if he didn't make enough of an impression to interest some of our peers (mention of Aberdeen noted). Of course, if he's still injured that might put some of them off.

    Is that real? If so, you've got to hand it them - Celtic strips tend to be fairly average as they're restricted to the green and white hoops but they've managed to break from that and make an absolute howler.

    In what way? Did he not move to Rangers and get a really serious injury pretty quickly? Could that not have happened at Aberdeen? Well, not while playing in a Champions League game but you know what I mean.

    I know Burrows hasn't been with you very long but has he made a noticeable difference? Keith Lasley went to St. Mirren and pretty quickly their fans seemed delighted with how their club was being run and a number of initiatives which seemed very similar to what we had been doing. Fair enough, that's what they brought him in for. We just seem a bit rudderless at the moment.

    I'm assuming a nominal fee and various add-on/sell-on clauses. Otherwise he's priced out a move which does no-one any favours.

    Ah, that explains why there were 4 minutes added to the end of the first half despite no injuries or subs. We were late in due to problems at turnstiles so had no idea where the added time came from.

    Picked up a few in Lidl yesterday. Harbour Session IPA is alright.

    There's been a few comments about Johnston being OK at QotS but was he not also supposed to have been pretty average at Cove. On that basis, how likely we was it we were going to be throwing a long-term contract his way before he impressed for us.? There would have been all sorts of Luke Watt comments flying about.
