  1. I think he was going for a career highlights reel in just one game. As you say, incredible confidence just now. I just hope his injury is something he'll shake off for next week.
  2. Can someone please make a gif of it. One for the ages. The defender then hauling him down for a yellow card was peak Scottish football as well.
  3. I'm assuming the top tier isn't open which is daft making everyone squeeze in. Even with that, looks like a cracking away support.
  4. The one on the left with the picture of David Attenborough - it says "Glasgow Rangers- a club...." What's missing? There's a caption competition right there.
  5. I don't think the LEZ is actually in operation yet so that's a load of bollocks. It's also a very easy drive to Lenzie for the very regular train service. They just can't be arsed, can they?
  6. Surely the real tin pot thing here is the kick off time? Never been a problem clashing with the English cup final before, in fact they were traditionally on at the same time.
  7. It's taken them a while but they're pretty much going down the ID card route, just it's for voting now instead.
  8. A win for Motherwell would pretty much see us safe. Still plenty to play for and we're due a win against Killie.
  9. Your grass is looking a bit long, could probably be doing with a cut by the weekend.
  10. What about happy? Or any of the other dwarves?
  11. Does that not require a club to be liquidated and you take your place?
  12. What? Are you trying to say you're not hard as nails so getting on for £400 for a season ticket might be a stretch?
  13. The prices do sound as though they've jumped up. The blurb says a small percentage but it looks inflation bursting (although I can't remember what I paid last year).
  14. There are fields reasonably me but, living in Glasgow, I was still surprised to see my street listed as 'Accessible Rural '.
  15. Back to the post-split fixtures, normally there are fans of at least one club bleating about how they've been done over but I'm not picking up on that this time. Is there a club complaining or have they pretty much got it right this time with equal home and away games all round? Obviously there are some clubs having to visit others for a third time but that's very difficult to avoid unless everyone finishes in the expected half.
  16. I'd prefer to get the win in the first game against Kilmarnock and then we can relax. Would take an incredible sequence of results for us to end up in the play-off if we win that.
  17. Assuming the offer didn't match the club's valuation, I'd also assume the wages on offer to Van Veen weren't eye watering or we'd have seen a different reaction.
  18. I know Alan Main was highly unlikeable but did he do anything above and beyond to merit still being talked about?
  19. The SPFL could well have worked out those permutations but they've probably got to consult with Sky and the police who I'd doubt can be bothered looking at it on a 'what if' basis.
  20. Shuggie did the same blue/green top thing when he played for Motherwell as well. I don't know who he actually supported or if he just liked being a wind-up merchant.
  21. This is the article Google Chrome was trying to push on me this morning. Similar stuff. Don't know whether this is the general feeling of the Celtic support (not particularly on here admittedly) or whether they know their audience and are essentially clickbait. https://videocelts.com/2023/04/blogs/latest-news/john-beaton-and-liam-kelly-team-up-to-deny-celtic/
  22. On here anyway, there's generally been an understanding that Celtic can't win every game and an acceptance they weren't at their best or clinical enough yesterday. Going by the boos at the end of the game that understanding is still lacking in some and elements in social media seem to back that up. Google Chrome was trying to push a blog post on me this morning saying the referee was complicit with any attempts to waste time.
  23. I can't remember which team (maybe St. Johnstone)it was but there was a game towards the end of Hammell's reign where the opposing team was time wasting something rotten. Taking ages over everything, players going down injured, you know, the sort of stuff it sounds like we were doing yesterday. It is really frustrating but pretty much every team does it including Celtic - you just don't see it that much from them as they don't need to do it very often.
