Yes, not just because the football on his pitch, but his interviews should be a sackable offence alone. Any goal we concede is our players not sticking to the “game plan”.
In fairness, I'd imagine a big part of the gameplan would be...."Don't concede"

We had Paul Dalglish back around 2005/06

How the f**k was that first goal not disallowed?
Ryan Jack didn't even celebrate, he ran straight to the ref to ask if it would stand...when even they don't expect the level of help they get, it's unreal

VAR have decided the foul doesn't stand because the team that commited it come fae govan

That's Carson officially here. Seen him described as a 'Gives 100% every game, but not technically gifted' footballer, which might be exactly what we need
A slightly younger Scott Pittman?

Surely the way games v each other etc go there are teams already unable to win the league?
Don't argue with the algorithm

Can we add Klopp to the list please? Looks like he’d enjoy living somewhere with a beach.
As much as I can see the "Once a red, always a red" nonsense....I think Aberdeen are more likely to appoint Jurgen's brother Klip

It's that time again.
Livingston will be the first team officially out if the title race if Celtic beat Aberdeen at lunchtime on Saturday. If Celtic fail to win then Livi must take all 3 points at Ibrox to maintain a title challenge.
Martindale still in the title hunt even after shopping at Primark is exceptional work....can't understand people's frustrations with him

Shinnie was getting frustrated with him the day, clearly trying to direct him, but Nottingham was doing his own thing.
Noticed Shinnie trying to orchestrate his team mates a lot today with nobody moving for him. He lost the tattie at Kelly a number of times for that reason

Nottingham won't try as many stupid passes as Devlin and is likely a better asset in the air.
I'd try Donnellan next to Obileye (if he's not fucked again) next. If we're struggling with that, I'd potentially be looking at Ledingham rather than having either of them as starters again.
I'd like to see Ledingham now that we appear to be well and truly down already...blood the young lad for next season

This ref just making decisions at random now?

Foul on Penrice there

This'll get overturned I think

We should really be level at least between the penalty and Stephen Kelly's chance at the end...Shinnie has been brilliant today barring his penalty

That's justice. Didn't even look like a foul nevermind a penalty. What an absolutely horrific penalty by Shinnie though. He should have had a much better career than he's had. What happened to him?!
It's 100% a foul...not sure it was a penalty though

No mention of Big Sexy Lee Miller yet? Disappointing. Andrew Shinnie is also a very handsome man in person. My daughter was a mascot last season and was really shy when she met him because he's "byooteeful"....the wife was less discreet and had to be torn away from him

TBH at the moment my biggest concern is who have we actually got fit to play on Saturday - I'm not sure I can ever recall us with such a thread-bare team; even after administration when we had to let so many player go.
Going by the photos posted it looks like Sangare and Penrice both trained in preparation for the weekend. The young boy Ledingham was talked up at the beginning of the season and has featured on the bench plenty but yet to see him play. With our issues in defence, I do wonder if we might see him at some point soon.
With the personnel available we could go for something like
Shamal
Brandon Donnellan Nottingham Penrice
Holt Shinnie
MacKay Sangare St Kelly
Anderson

I would imagine our budget constraints would have the most impact on bringing in loans from bigger sides. These players from Liverpool, West Brom will still be on much higher wages than we can afford (even if it's only a percentage we're expected to pay). I'm sure martindale would prefer a young, up and coming keeper on loan from Sheffield United or something but we've had to go for a 39 year old Mike McGovern from Hearts

Sigurdsson was absolutely fantastic for Everton until... it... happened, tbf. Not as if they could plan for him being a wrong un.
Weren't the charges against him dropped?

Great player for us that was hung out to dry this season in positions he was not suited for. A better team playing him on either wing will get a lot out of him.
Positional issues are understandable but playing in a different position shouldn't impact a player's ability to make a simple 5 yard pass or his ability to control a ball

Is that the shock of the round? Not only winning but coming back from going a goal down early

And yet truly versatile players like Jack McMillan got shipped out to Partick?
At the time Jack wanted to play regular first team football and was behind an in form Nicky Devlin, James Penrice and Cristian Montano. I liked Jack as a player and was gutted to see him leave but it was the right decision
