The performances haven't been terrible recently. But momentum and confidence is a big thing in sports, I feel we've lost a bit of that. I dont think the France or England games have helped us tbh, probably the opposite. Would have been great to end the campaign with a couple of wins to build that back up. A couple of friendlys against teams we should be beating and doing that I think is definitely what we need to get that belief back before the tournament.

Yeah tbh this post has changed my mind, I say we just go for it full biffter. Probably we would pick up more tv rights as well all the Caribbean nations tuning in.

Its actually the narrative that I brought up. And I'd suggest as someone not involved im in a better position to judge than someone doing the bullying. Tbh I dont think I'd be keen on the idea if it were even possible. Im all for selecting the best team we can. But people with a Scottish granny id imagine would have a case to feel more Scottish than someone who's possibly never even been here getting in on a loophole. But the guys just posting his opinions on football, and im all for outside the box thinking. Perhaps one post listing the players rather than a separate one for each player would have been an easier read. But the people ganging up on him should maybe have a think around what kind of person they are.

We all see things differently, at the start bar round 3 I seen fury chalking up rounds comfortably. That's why I was so surprised hearing Carl Framptons assessment. So I kind of assumed it would continue like that. So I wasnt expecting at the end to have Ngannou ahead. But for me he won alot of the later rounds. I can see the argument for fury winning them also tho as nothing much was landing from either. But at that point what I saw was Ngannou landing the cleaner shots in the later rounds. I've been a big fan of fury, I certainly wasn't scoring it looking to be negative to him. He just seemed to have run out of ideas and motivation, last 3 rounds he barely thru anything. Alot of the rounds were tight tho so I can understand an alternative view. Never watched this live as I thought it would be pointless. So scored the fight myself out of interest and had Ngannou winning by 2. I thought the commentary was ridiculously biased towards Ngannou. Not sure what Carl Frampton was watching with his input at round 5. Fury was an absolute joke came in out of shape no timing just a mess. The lad Ngannou was alot better than anyone especially tyson was expecting. But an in shape tyson would have walked every round. Weve seen him come back from worse physical conditions. But unless he can pull himself back together he should retire. Usyk in there tonight would have embarrassed him. Up until now I would have picked tyson to win that fight. Was that a fixed decision? In my view it wasn't an accurate one.

No, I hadnt read the other thread. I was going with the story everyone believed that he used to be a forward player. Tbf I always thought is was more of an attacking midfielder. I remember it being mentioned a few times when he was breaking thru under mourinho that he used to be a forward player. Perhaps that was just the same false info

Well it wasn't my idea, but yeah I dont think its a bad shout tbh. Were stacked with midfield options. Hes apparently played there as a younger player, I think its unlikely to happen tho tbh

Tbh I had never considered that, but now that you say it it could be a good shout. Id agree hes got the ability to do it and the physical side what a turn around that would be for him eh. The fact his goals have come from deep is fairly obvious, hes been playing midfield if they had been coming from being the focal point of an attack. Then he would have been the striker already

Have I to admit I got it wrong again? Nobody else can manage it once but I've to do it continually? The results and performances at those euros weren't good, I didn't think he would be about to improve things to this extent. In hindsight would I sack Clarke after the euros? No, I wouldn't. I dont disagree with any of that, if hes not selected ill trust that clarke has assessed it and doesn’t think he can contribute. Which is fair enough its his call.

Would you disagree that its difficult to show you can fit a system, score goals or assist goals when your not in the squad?
