  1. Its extremely positive for us hes getting such good experience playing both sides. Being trusted to start at right wing back against Milan effectively ends that debate. I could see him being capable of playing more than just the full back or wing back positions for us in future.
  2. Its in fact 4 times now recently, as you said this. Then instead of taking a step back you stuck your fingers in your ears and said "im never wrong"
  3. Why? Cos its off topic? But your ok with the last 2 pages of off topic stuff? From people with high ratings, surprising.
  4. But if you want to be pedantic, the paterson one you were demonstrably wrong. Its on the thread. Black and white You say that paterson will start and is the obvious option. The very manager you revere comes out and says that's not the case and he wouldn't have started. Why deny it? Its on the thread Its getting something wrong regarding a selection of a football team, its not the end of the world. Edit* Also going back to Livramento, you were absolutely incorrect. There was not the 2 possible outcomes to the scenario you painted. Its not possible to even argue that.
  5. Of course, i forgot your never wrong eh. Even when you are. Talk about doubling down.
  6. Also in fairness before today when he was supposed to play i think alot of us were saying the same thing. Hes not been given a crack at it at all.
  7. I agree its a good group, not quite as good as we could have got but still very good. I've not really looked at the usa squad much recently, but there not doing great. But they certainly have players who would get in our squad and team. The lad at celtic Carter Vickers would easily get in our team and doesn't make their squad. So Im not sure how we could be miles ahead of them. But as I said, I've not really looked into it. Im open to being convinced were much better than the USA if you can. As for Iran, I dont have a clue. But underestimating teams is something we don't want to be doing.
  8. You get a fair bit wrong in fairness. Your guesswork on Clarkes potential conversion with Livramento. Stating Nathan Paterson was the obvious first choice. Then the manager comes out and says he wouldn't have started. Hickey shouldn't and won't be in the squad. He was and was good. These are just in the last wk or 2. So your not so perfect yourself.
  9. Sure you said I was on ignore. P.S get a haircut
  10. Got to remember they were friendlies, its a complete different mindset. We would have seen those games out. Each to their own, but I couldn't imagine us getting "rinsed" against Wales tbh. I think it will be a tight game.
  11. I think its fair to consider any man with long hair a weirdo Unless their in a famous rock band.
  12. You could try that "hesgoal" site, I dont use it myself the quality is a bit crap
  13. If your looking at it as basic as hes spoken to him or hasn't then there is 2 possibilities. In real terms tho discussing the option with him produces alot of possible outcomes. Not only the one which was presented.
  14. Yeah I agree, but its impossible to say for sure. Maybe Gallagher wouldn't have progressed much at Falkirk. Or he might be amazing by now. Im guessing leaving rangers produced a better version of Gilly Bilmour. Its just positive that the big English teams and even the abroad leagues are now looking and trying to poach our young players more. Shows we're now doing something right in terms of development.
  15. It doesn't matter they are classed as homegrown depending on years in the club or English system. The nationality is irrelevant.
  16. Its hard to call, their probably less likely to get a shot playing at a much better team. But more likely to have decent opportunities within the loan system.
  17. Couple of young Scottish old firm players linked with some of the big daddy clubs, not sure if thats good or bad. But suppose its good if their that good. https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/ben-doak-liverpool-target-celtic-everything-you-need-to-know-unbelievable-talent/ https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/rory-wilson-snub-rangers-new-23499910
  18. If I were to guess I'd say my scenario 4 is most likely. Hes actually been the one in the past bringing up his eligibility for us and Portugal. (Told a Q&A on the Premier League side’s YouTube channel that his mum has pushed him to play for Scotland when asked whether his dad would like to see him represent Portugal, saying: “He’s never fully said it but you kind of see that you wouldn’t mind it. “I think my mum’s probably more the one who wants me to play for Scotland over anyone.”) So hes certainly had the chance to shut down the option of playing for us and hasn't done so. He maybe weighing up his options which he's perfectly entitled to do. He might end up in a squad soon if he fancys going to the world Cup (touch wood). Also he is a good young player, but he's playing for Southampton. A middle of the road premier club, its not like he's turning out for Man Citys every week. Its not ridiculous he would play for us. Were a much more attractive team to play for now.
  19. Not really craig, there are multiple scenarios that could or could not have happened. Saying their is only 2 is to try and justify your amateur mind reading act. 3. Clarke doesn't fancy him 4. Livremento has said, "maybe ill come back to you further down the line" 5. Clarke is maybe thinking about approaching him further down the line. 6....... I could go on, but its pretty pointless. I dont know either Clarke or Livremento so trying to guess how their thinking of feeling is pretty ridiculous.
  20. He never played for Scotland either at u21s, or at any youth level.
  21. Similar things would have been said about Mctominay at the time he chose to play for us. He was playing for a much better and high profile team. Yet made to choice to play for us despite having better (player wise) options. We don't know Livramento thoughts on who he would or wouldn't play for. So to be so definite about it is just silly.
  22. Just having a quick look at the start of this thread is a good laugh. Pick of the bunch tho
  23. Tbh I cant see him getting in their team next year unless there is a big fire sale. Alot of people thought at the time that the Norwich move would be an issue for the very reason that were seeing, their players not being good enough for him tho thrive. But we could see last night hes not lost anything in terms of confidence, so the loan hasn't done him any harm. Hopefully he goes to a decent team next season.
  24. I think it is just as simple as that, you would be struggling to name one of our starting outfield players last night who wouldn't walk right into the Norwich team.
