Living just over an hour away from bologna does not qualify you as an expert on their youth system. I live just over an hour away from many many clubs. Yet I don't have any knowledge on their youth systems. My nephew played for celtic and is now at St Johnstone. Yet despite being in touch with him I have very little understanding of their youth recruitment, coaches or training. You were not employed by bologna were you? So really you just read some stuff in a newspaper. Of which there's going to be ridiculously little info on youth teams. Stuff that anyone would have access to.

What about bayern or lyon? Are they up to your standards?

Ok mate you don't rate him. I get it I personally haven't seen enough of him to say either way. I'm going on that fact that teams like bayern lyon and bologna (whatever you may think of them) are trying to sign him. Suggests to me they think he's going to be a very good player. As a Scotland fan I hope he is.

Bologna is the wrong option to use there. A budget bigger than Atalanta yet consistently underperform due to their inability to spot a player. I'm not up to date really on what bologna do or don't do well. Their a pretty big team tho. And for them to be coming to Scotland to be looking at a young player. Im going to go with their judgement.

I'm afraid you will never get this satisfaction. As match of the day wouldn't be covering bayern or Barce games. Or going into a rant about Scottish players coming thru and moving to to big clubs 5 years after the event. FYI Match of the day do highlights of the English premiership games

I think I'm one of the biggest optimists on here when it comes to Scotland (someone has to try balance out the self hatred) But even I think that's overly optimistic. Very close to being utter crap.

This is true, but it still bodes well for the future that massive teams like bayern are interested in and signing our young players in numbers we've never seen before. Maybe one makes it as a first team player there, its one more than we had before. This is also true, Scott Gemmill needs to be getting sacked if we're going to make big progress. Everytime I've watched his u21 teams they play absolutely honking football. Its not the players, its him. Kick and rush is the game plan and its hopeless. I honestly couldn't believe people were touting him for the main job. He won't get sacked tho, performances don't matter to the sfa. Its obvious his face fits.

Written off by some for one mistake in the Europa league last 16. His team were unlucky to lose the game. He's getting in the olympiakos team, so by that hes more than good enough for our squad. The hatred for our own players on these page is sad.
