    Bordeaux

Cheers mate. I was looking at that hotel too! Good location? Will check out those places. Nice! Catch any footy over there?
  2. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for places to stay in Bordeaux please? Also, where to go for the best food/wine? Anyone been to see Bordeaux FC per chance? Easy to get tickets?
  3. Spot on. Was just saying this the other day.
  4. I like the tops. The third kit (yellow) is not for sale unfortunately. Try own Hereford United tops. Some of those were sexy as hell.
  5. Come on JR bring in some big guns! [emoji106][emoji481][emoji869]
  6. Adam, I've been depressed as hell for many years (peaks and severe troughs). A few years back I was struggling big time as my Dad was dying of cancer and my horrific relationship was falling apart. A couple of years on and my outlook has changed based on a number of lifetime changes (see below) and bit of therapy. (1) I split with my girlfriend at the time as she said I was a selfish p***k spending a weekend with my Dad (who had about 5/6 months left) rather than go to her friend's wedding. (2) I got well into fitness after kicking Lady Evil to the curb. (3) Cut down on excessive drinking. (4) Doctor put me on new medication. Very mild dose but it helps a lot. (5) My negative pessimistic views have changed to much more positive ideals and I'm much less stressed. (6) I've recently got a new high powered job working with good people which has given me renewed confidence. (7) After two years of being single, I've finally met a top lass. It's going great. (8) More travelling - really does broaden the mind and help independence and social confidence. Like many people have said here, if anyone needs to chat to me - just holla.
  7. Midnight Special - well filmed, acted and exciting at points but felt it fell flat at the end. Almost felt like it ran out of steam. 6/10.
  8. Forfar is a Dundee United hotbed. Avoid. It's all about the Arbroath. Thank you.
  9. Some bloke in Arbroath yesterday told me Barrie McKay was worth the same as Raheem Stirling...???!!!!
  10. Some covers band in Macsorleys in Glasgow
  11. I realise I haven't sold it to you! [emoji28] However, as an evening/part time thing it could be very rewarding. I watch a lot of non league English football so I guess I have a lot of knowledge in an area where scouts aren't that familiar.
  12. Sadly not my job but I'm qualified. Making a living off it is virtually impossible unless you know someone. I did a two day course in Old Trafford back in June. Want me to send you the link mate?
  13. Us Dees are a bunch of beautiful b*****ds. f**k the Dabs. Thank you.
  14. Speaking of that. I am actually a qualified scout and I emailed the club about a recommendation for a striker. No response.

  16. You know your stuff mate! Impressive. Well, around that time a lot of local bands were trying to sound American which was horrible really. I remember a particularly good Welsh/German act from the late nineties who were on that level called Section 8. I had their demo and it was classic stuff. Other strong UK bands that tried to follow that route were probably on the 'Greetings from the welfare state' compilation which I used to own. Joe 90/Goober Patrol/Road Rage/Consumed/Snuff. I always rated Snuff and their various incarnations (Guns 'N' Wankers/Dogpiss/Snuff). Consumed were also vastly underrated. More recently AFS (Arthritic Foot Soldiers) were good and most of the pop stuff on the labels they were involved with. I'm not so familiar with UK pop punk these days. Are you a fan of Masked Intruder? Of the top of my head particularly good poppy punk bands were: Oskar (did two albums on Epitaph) Descendents/All (the best) Masked Intruder (classic) Dr Frank (MTX solo) GG Allin (first album) Vanilla Muffins
  17. Good stuff mate. Couple of modernish bands you might like... The Skoidats Hub City Stompers Zen Baseballbat The Tone Chris Murray Aggrolites The Slackers The Interrupters
