  1. I hope you're wrong Spain but the signing of Goodwillie until the end of the season sounded to me like a replacement signing.
  2. Don't be ridiculous. Two different types of attacking player totally.
  3. So what's been the damage from the weekend fixture then, is Reckord our only fit defender? I think I'd still rather have our midfielder's Murdoch and Irvine fill in at the back lie before Jamie Reckord!
  4. I think we could call that a good transfer window. Maybe would have preferred another leftback to allow us to use Foster further up the pitch but I'm confident that we have a stronger squad today 2nd Feb than we did on 31st Dec. Well done Jimmy McIntyre
  5. The abuse the lad gets on here and especially at home matches at Viccy Park is uncalled for. Some supporters delighting in him getting injured warming up last weekend was embarrassing, you know who you are.
  6. Any sightings of Don Cowie in Dingwall? I'm sure we could squeeze him into the starting XI on Sunday.
  7. I've jumped the gun! I thought the article I'd read was from the official fb page but it wasn't my bad.
  8. That would be pretty hilarious though if we did though Good luck to Rocco in Paisley. I'm not sure about taking Paul Quinn back (if there's even a chance of this happening) I thought he did a great job as an organiser on the park and was a bit part of us surviving last season. I'm not sure how he and Davies would be together, maybe Robertson would be the better partner for PQ but I'd say Davies is the better player. As for Cowie, I'd love to see him back strutting about in a County shirt but it would all depend on finances, he would surely be willing to accept an affordable wage. Cowie could be a great teacher/mentor for a sometimes raw Jackson Irvine. It would make a great Central midfield partnership for our semi at the end of the month
  9. Congratulations Liam Boyce, Player of the month for December http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35300784 Ross County striker Liam Boyce is the Scottish Premiership player of the month for December. The 24-year-old Northern Ireland international scored five goals in five games last month, including a Boxing Day hat-trick against Dundee. Currently sidelined with a broken hand, Boyce has found the net 17 times for the Staggies this season. He moved to the Dingwall club from Cliftonville in the summer of 2014 and scored 11 goals last term. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35300784 Liam Boyce: Ross County striker targets semi-final return Ross County striker Liam Boyce hopes to return from a hand fracture in time for the League Cup semi-final with Celtic on 31 January. The 24-year-old, who is the Premiership player of the month for December, has missed the last three matches. "I had another x-ray today and they think it's going to be another two to four weeks," said Boyce. "I'm aiming for the Celtic semi-final, it's a big match, but I'll just need to take each game as it comes." Boyce has found the net 17 times for the Staggies this season, so the Northern Ireland international is frustrated to be sidelined. "I'm obviously hoping it's two weeks [before he can return], I might be able to play with a smaller cast," he added. "It's really annoying since I can do everything except contact. I just need to stay positive and keep in good shape." Boyce scored five goals in five games last month, including a Boxing Day hat-trick against Dundee. And he was quick to credit his team-mates, including regular strike partner Craig Curran, on picking up his monthly prize. "I'm not the quickest and Craig can cover the ground," he said. "We both hold the ball up well and we both like to get in the box and we work off each other. "We've got players on the wings who can make things happen so we know when the ball is out there our job is to get in the box and try to get a yard."
  10. Don's not played much this season for Wigan, i'd like to see him get a switch somewhere so that he got more games.
  11. What a difference a year make eh. A year ago i thought we were doomed for relegation and the possibility of years out with the top division. Our squad just now is imo the best we have ever had and and we have a trip to hampden for a cup semi final to look forward to, things are certainly looking up. Well done to all those involved
  12. Our midfield going missing has been the key to these jekyll and Hyde performances lately, dynamic one match anomonous the next. Why, and what's the remedy, God knows?
  13. There's time yet, yes there's been disappointing matches but there was also a glimmer of light in an away game in Perth. Mcshane linked up well and was great in supporting his team mates in creating an space for an out ball, he helped make nice wee triangular passing moves, more of this and he will have a good future ahead of him.
  14. No where near good enough to make the first two starting central midfield places, he was an unused sub the other day tho. Maybe he'll be used more if we play 5 in the middle against better teams away from home.
  15. Hahaha that's rich coming from an obsesive tink Jog on back to your cooncil dump will you
  16. This inverness tink we seem to have adopted within The General Ross County Chat Thread, he does seem a little obsessed. It's quite cute, well it might be if it wasn't a dirty ******* dump dwelling tink!
  17. Well whoever they were they were redundant both prematch and after the game.
  18. The bbc radio Scotland didn't have a reporter at in Perth last night! They confirmed the line-up in 30 seconds prematch then had someone hold a microphone in front of either manager for a minute each after the game, THAT was it, effin ridiculous coverage to what was an entertaining game. It sounded like there was a full panel along the road to cover the arse of the dundee derby but they couldn't afford to pay one reporter to be at Perth!
