I think Steele is a good player, I just don’t think he’s a long-term solution at right back. It gives me similar vibes to Ricky’s first season when he played right back - gives it his all but just isn’t his position. Steele is definitely a centre half and we should be playing him there long-term.

Having seen a bit of Steele now I think it’s obvious he’s never a right-back. Hopeless going forward.

Feel like a draw would have been a fairer result on the balance of play but when we’re losing goals like the first and third really can’t complain about getting beat. Feel far more confident we can get goals to win these types of games this season though. Back at it again next week.

Definitely need a dedicated defensive midfield option so happy with that.

As much as I am tired with the club wheeling out the part-time woe-is-me stuff at every opportunity they get, it does seem like a totally ludicrous decision regardless. I want to say I’m surprised the SPFL agreed to this but I’d be lying honestly.

I wouldn’t be against a run in the Challenge Cup, might distract from what looks like a long league season. A junior team and an Old Firm away day in the Scottish Cup would be ideal also.
