Tbf Adams doesn’t get a lot of opportunities to kick folk when he’s playing at centre half.

Shankland, Murdoch, Geggan and Harvie are the only ones with more than one booking. Shankland - 2 Murdoch - 4 Geggan - 3 Harvie - 4 2 of Harvies bookings then resulted in a second booking so I’m not sure if they count and he’s actually only on 2.

I’ll need to double check how many each player has but I think it’s two weeks after the 6th booking that the player misses.

Will they ever win another game?

I was sitting behind him as well and never saw anything. Someone else said on Twitter after the game he gestured towards us when we scored but I never saw that either.

Absolutely nothing But it’s the same situation that Celtic had with Lewis Morgan last season. He was out of contract but they paid a 6 figure fee and loaned him back. FYI I don’t think it’ll happen. He’ll most likely just go in the summer for nothing.

Surely you guys would’ve learnt from last season that 7 points is nothing at this stage of the season. Remains to be seen if Arbroath are as generous as we were last season and allow you to catch up.

If we’re in this position come January then it’ll be players coming into the club that we’ll be focused on. Can’t see anyone especially our best player being let go.

Very true Looking through that squad though every player is playing for McCall because of the faith he placed in them after they were either told they weren’t good enough or they were finished at this level at previous clubs.

I wasn’t surprised at our fast start this season as I had a feeling the way we play would surprise teams but I thought after 3 or 4 games teams would wise up to it. I think managers now know we’re not going away but if you constantly play the way we’re playing with high intensity then it becomes very hard to stop. Couple that with 11 players every week who are desperate to win and you’ve got a recipe for success.

I must admit I was concerned in pre season that McCall might be underestimating the quality of teams in this league but both he and Kerr were right. There’s clearly a step up from League 1 but the teams aren’t massively better. Maybe we’ve been lucky that a few teams are massively underperforming but we can only beat what’s in front of us.

This Queens don’t have the squad depth to get into the play offs.

The fact that Shankland is 8 goals away from equaling his total goal haul from last season is utterly mental.

Swansea, Sunderland and Wigan are the 3 bigger names down south I’ve seen are linked with him. All 3 would be brilliant moves for him. I’m sure he had a trial at Swansea for a couple of weeks before signing for us.

This Alloa need to start winning football matches, it doesn’t mean anything if you’re playing well or “passing teams off the park” if you’ve nothing to show for it.

Decent interview with McCall on Sky Sports tonight. Just basically reiterating that we’ve started well but it’s only the first quarter. The 4 new signings have made a big difference. Was asked about Shankland and he reckons he’ll be here until the summer but there’s “about 15 clubs” all trying to get him. Says that his next move will be life changing but he’s got another even bigger move to come later on in his career.

Exactly It wouldn’t take that long to convince him to leave a club like Morton. 5 or 10 minutes at the most.

Now that the two teams are meeting on a proper football pitch I’d be expecting us to win.
