  1. Yes I have never understood this and in normal business they are sent to all concerned, the shareholders in this instance, once they have been written up.
  2. Big trouble yes unless AJ changes his attitude and we get back to basics playing the team in their correct positions especially at the back making us difficult to score against and dangerous on the counter attack just like Arbroath. It's not rocket science as Strachan was keen to point out. 4-4-2 and have the players putting in the maximum effort plus commitment and things will look after themselves. Simple really don't overcomplicate things as Dick Campbell preaches.
  3. The issue I have is that the club is actually owned by the Shareholders but they are as much in the dark as to what is going on as the supporters. There is an AGM around this time every year but other than electing the same board members we have no say on the running of the club and Hewitson being a self confessed technophobe is clearly not comfortable in front of people becoming defensive to any question he deems critical of his Chairmanship. We need a radical overhaul of the club structure and accountability to the supporters without whom it would not exist. Now would be a good time for such a move before we end up in the lower divisions and potential oblivion. The question is what is available to the shareholders within the clubs constitution to instigate such change?
  4. Now what on earth is this about eh? Would like to see Gibson as interim manager then appoint a good experienced guy who can get back to basics alongside Gibson or go for an exceptional young guy with loads of potential who plays expansive positive football to the best out of the players we have and play them in their rightful positions. Simple eh?
  5. Well done to Arbroath you are a credit to part time football, I think, but even more to a good manager that gets the best from the squad of players he has available. Simples eh?
  6. Barely getting an opportunity under Johnstone unfortunately other than substitutions however he was injured for a few weeks.
  7. He was getting a fitness assessment prior to the Raith game at home so cannot be far away from being available unless he has suffered a setback.
  8. Completely agree that he is being wasted out wide when he is much more effective through the middle. Another example of square pegs for round holes by the Tinkerman.
  9. While acknowledging a much better performance yesterday Tinkerman was at it again. Good that he restored Gibson to his more effective RB position but playing Connolly wide right didn't work and is his lad better in midfield than our two best midfielders, Todd and Cochrane who were on the bench?
  10. It's not rocket science- get your best eleven on the pitch in their natural positions and go for it. Or it would be if we had a half decent manager.
  11. Whatever but the bottom line is that Johnston is not getting the best from the talented squad of players recruited and that is simply not good enough.
  12. I thought the reason for the red zones in the old stand was that the front of it was being used for substitutes because the replacement dugouts had not come. That was weeks ago and again it seems that the supporters are being herded together to accommodate this. Supporters would appear to be a secondary consideration and are there not local firm that could fabricate the dugouts to resolve this issue?
  13. Managed to watch the Raith game as well so this issue for me is with Ayr FC.
  14. Manged to watch the ICT away game which was after this ruling was brought in.
  15. Never had an issue with any other clubs PPV but the Ayr one is not letting me in as it is defining Dumfries to be in England. I have email the club but no reply so looks like they will lose out on a fair bit of revenue unless they can quickly resolve the issue.
  16. Gutter is harsh and unjustified. Tremendous energy, lacking focus perhaps but keeps the opposition occupied and when Queens had their decent third last season it was when Pybus was pushed further forward to support Shields.
  17. Johnston blaming slow starts for the recent defeats but surely it's his job to get the players fully up for a game before stepping into the pitch so essentially he is blaming himself.
  18. Renew his partnership with Connolly perhaps? http://www.qosfc.com/news-5539
  19. Totally agree that Johnston is too fixated with the opposition and ways of stopping them play. We should simply play to our strengths and let the opponents worry about us. Successful sides have a set pattern of play which the players buy into with few, if any, unnecessary changes to the side week in week out.
  20. I would never do anything to damage Queens as a club but the BoD must be held to account by the shareholders at the next AGM meeting but this is likely to be virtual so may be a waste of time. Perhaps this is the right time to call an EGM but not sure how this is achieved. Someone must know??
