    Don’t disagree with any of that. I was just giving my opinion that given the amount of change that occurred it shows how quickly things can be turned around.

    As I’m watching the athletics this is the analogy that springs to mind. For the last few seasons Clydebank are 10k runners entering a marathon. Off quickly but wonder why they’re being overtake by the masses as they’ve nothing left at the end. Darvel and Talbot now have a real chance but it’s still Beith’s to lose.

    Very different from the opinions at the start of the season. Goes to show that sometimes a short step back leads to a big leap forward. For about an hour today it was a contest but when the second went in Cumnock capitulated. Heads went down and Talbot looked capable of scoring every time they went forward. While it’s an outside chance the league isn’t lost. Beith are clear favourites but Talbot and Darvel are worth a couple of quid at the bookies.

    7/10 for Friday. I did do Monday’s quiz and when I looked at it again I know all ten answers but can’t remember what ones I got wrong cos I didn’t know them all on Monday. I’ll just have to take the hit of a zero for not posting it on Monday to be fair to the rest of the bottom division mid-table regulars.

    I keep toying with the idea of one more marathon. Then I go for a run and think, no chance I could drag my carcass round one. I should really just enter one and be done with it as I know I would commit to the training.
