Theres a few players we really cant be affording to lose i think. Its vital they do what they can to keep them and build the team around them. For me those players being craig gordan, gummy, lee, ross and tam. I would probably throw john in there aswell the rest i wouldnt really be fussed to see them go.
I agree with your choice of players and i would add Michael McNeill in to that mix.

At the moment you have to say Cumbernauld and Darvel are certs to go up but Blantyre really impressed me last week and I'd love to see them go up. Cumbernauld usually have a massive wobble somewhere along the line and that could open the door for anyone in a chasing pack to take advantage.

In the same way Medda gave Ross Wilson a good run at it? Its easy to comment when it’s not your club and you only see us once or twice a season.
If what it I heard yesterday is true, your club have had a bid knocked back but have tapped the boy up so wether it happens now or for next season is the only decision to be made.
He will be a loss but he (and the other youngsters) deserve better than what we can give them just now.I would hope he wouldn't leave but can't blame him if he does. Medda made a very poor offer and were told to bolt.

So by your logic if a manager isint doing well he should be kept in a job because the club has had a higher than average number of managers over the last 10 years (of which only one was sacked for poor results!)Correct mate. To be fair i don't care what people from other clubs think about us and our turnover of managers. They would be doing the exact same thing if they were in our position. They jump on the bandwagon with their criticism without knowing the full story.
I thought we were rotten yesterday. Not a great day for football but we never really bothered Medda . . . Towards the end of the game they got a bit edgy but were always better than us.
I am now convinced the only way our manager walks is if he chooses to. I just can't see the committee doing anything about it. I heard there was a vote and it went 8-4 in his favour. Since then we have played 2 lost 2. Surely they can see what the rest of us are seeing. How many of the 8 who voted for the status quo actually know anything about the game?
It's horrible having to make a decision that sees someone lose their job but the club are the most important thing and they must act in Arthurlie's best interest.

Best of luck to them.

I'll take it I'll have them competitive and climbing the league in no time you should see my fifa team it's class 3-5-2 with attacking full backs it's the future I'm telling you and I wouldn't want paid either I'll do it for free so there you go there's my offer to the club, if I don't improve the team and the style of play I'll leave at the end of the season it's a win win situation
Get your CV sent in mate. Then again best wait until the post is advertised or glasgowtaxi will have a hissy fit.

Tremendous result for leaders Darvel at Cumberland. Keep an eye on Blantyre Victoria, good win at Arthurlie. Very capable side moving through the field nicely.I agree. A lovely team to watch. Full of energy and well worth their win against Arthurlie. They will pose problems for any team in our league if they can keep up that type of performance.

I will go for Peasy defeating a very good Neilston team. I've seen Peasy a couple of times this season and haven't been the least bit impressed with them, so thats a good result for them.

Maybe they feel it may be for the best giv the guy wee bit of time he started with nothing last year ... yes I agree the lie are meant to be one of big guns and results hvnt been great but over the past 10 years arthurlie hv chopped and changed manager probably most than others and it’s got them no where
maybe there vision might be wait and giv this guy wee bit more time cause he hasn’t done much worst than others on probably the lies lowest budget out of other managers
A couple of decent points made there mate. I suppose sometimes its easier looking in from the outside and being able to detach yourself from the situation. Thanks for the reply.

Satori why dnt you join committee? Hv your input see wat really happens behind the scenes cos from my experience it’s a real eyeopener
and I’m sure an extra pair a hands would greatly be appreciated
Take your point but i just don't have the time to commit at the moment. I dare say it would be an eye opener. It can't be easy, but the purpose of the job, i would think ,would be to do what is best for the club. Your own club are doing great at the moment. You only got there by making some difficult decisions and people pulling in the same direction. Thats all i am asking of Arthurlie. Am I wrong?

I think now you just leave Dunkie in post until the end of the season. No manager is going to make much difference now, players will be under contract so not much chance of a late improvement. Part company end of season and get someone in early June.
I take your point Harold but we need someone in to run the rule over these players. See who he wants to keep and plan for replacements for the ones he wants to let go. We need someone in now who is able to motivate the players. The present management are unable to do that. We need someone in right now to have us moving in the right direction so that come the close season, players see we are improving and would be willing to sign for us.
We have some really impressive youngsters but we will lose them if they continue to play under this regime.
I must say i have been a strong supporter of our committee up until now but they are quickly alienating supporters with their failure to act on this. Possibly they are working in the background and are doing what you say about leaving Dunky in place until the end of the season. I hope they are doing something.

lam a lanark supp/ but I like to take different games in / i was at silverburn / managed to see 2md Half / Arthurlie goalie excellent/ blantyre looked abit quicke all over park /
Our keeper has been the only light at the end of a very long tunnel mate. I dread to think where we would be if it wasn't for him. I agree Vics played at a pace that was far too much for us.

Well beaten to day by a very impressive Blantyre team. Being honest i think that is the best anyone has played against us this season. If the Vics can keep that level of performance up i reckon they are in with a shout of promotion.
As for Arthurlie, we are crap, we are whipping boys. Dunky please just go. You are doing nothing for our team. Glasgowtaxi, lets hear you defend this run of form. I heard today there was a midweek vote of confidence for the manager and he has strong support on the committee. Christ almighty. Why ?

Anyone else notice that glasgowtaxi has gone awol since JC put a name to him? For a mouthy twat he has gone very quiet.

Absolute shocker of a performance yesterday. The team are going nowhere. 2 defeats in a row against teams most of us would expect us to beat and i mean no disrespect to the Candy or Whitletts who both deserved to beat us. Where do we go from here? Any ideas glasgowtaxi? The "we go with what we have "strategy is clearly not working. We are one of the diddy teams now. Nobody worries about playing us any more. We are in real trouble here and people are shirking their duty.

Unlucky Duncan. Only one game short of redressing the balance of 6 defeats in a row. To be fair i thought Arthurlie hung in well despite being down to 10 men for most of the game. I felt the referee was a bit lenient with some of the Roch challenges. Mushett deserved to walk all day long. He let his team down big time. 11 V 11 Arthurlie would have won that game.
Good luck to St.Rochs, a good vocal support and more importantly a decent bunch of guys.

Very true. Dont think i've seen so many misplaced passes for a long while, which cant all be blamed on the conditions
It was poor mate. To be fair i thought Lang put enough into the game to get a point. Our keeper had a few good stops when Lang were on top . . Hard to take but the best of luck for the rest of your season.

Aye right. This implies that the SJFA listen to fans. They don't.
If they do, I'll eat my willy......and I'm not a big eater!
I'm sure you could do that and still have plenty room for pudding.
