  1. Have you been enjoying the hiking? That’s a good idea to try and better your distance each day. Wow 20km, impressive . Yeah you’ll certainly sleep well! I’ll definitely be walking or hiking somewhere, it just depends what the weather is like, but I shall let you know!
  2. Yeah, it’s just one thing opening up online, rather than face to face where tears may escape and make me feel pathetic in front of a stranger. I could maybe save the money and do that. Thank you. I appreciate that
  3. Very sensible words. Thank you yip I’m down a deep hole at the moment, with one shit thing after the next. Maybe when all the Coronavirus busyness calms down a bit I’ll go and get an appointment
  4. The Grapes was good when I went in when Twente were there for a friendly a few seasons back. Lots of Dutch fans were there and it was a good atmosphere. Not sure what it would be like on a normal game day though I might take a drive down there for a “day trip” when lockdown is over!
  5. Without my parents or a partner, I’m nothing, I’m the kind of person who has to live for others. I still feel mental health has a stigma attached to it. I’d hate to go to my doctors and get one of the arsey ones. It’s definitely true that the first step in the hardest. i tried two different ones. One just made me feel nothing and so sleepy and the other one gave me disturbing dreams and nausea
  6. Anyone? Im worrying myself over these women I only know to see
  7. The Morrisons near the ground as well is decent. Way better and bigger than the Tesco there! Next time you’re down there you’ll see that they’ve moved the takeaway to the premise so next door so it isn’t so cramped! It’s a lovely walk down to the train station (when it isn’t peeing it down). Damn I’m misty eyed for Stranraer now
  8. I doubt it will change. My relationship breakdown was horrid and when my mum passes away I’ll have nobody to live for. I haven’t spoke to a professional. I’ve never been one to go to the doctors, or to talk about things with a stranger as I know I’ll get upset. I’m not even on antidepressants as the ones I took over a decade ago didn’t agree with me at all
  9. I reckon it’s my mum that’s the only thing keeping me going. When she goes I’ll go soon after.
  10. I looked out the front and back windows and saw 5 doors open of people clapping. That’s out of about 45 houses
  11. I reckon those who caught it on Fri will be showing symptoms by now
  12. I’m hoping that we’ve been able to “maintain” it. Last Fri was when the more drastic social distancing measures came in (no pubs, cinemas, restaurants etc). Surely by now they’d be showing symptoms of the virus. I definitely think since Monday people have been taking things more seriously than they were before.
  13. Not one in particular but I always enjoy an away day at Stranraer. There’s been a few memorable games down there over the years! and a good chippy as well
  14. It sure has been a rough ride. There’s been plenty of days I’ve wished I wouldn’t wake up again. I guess the only thing that’s stopped me doing anything stupid has been my Mum. I couldn’t put that grief on her after losing her husband less than 2 months ago. These worrying world times are affecting her too.
  15. I’m not sure how it works for my mates wife. She has her own salon business. 3 stylists there rent chairs but she also has another two who she employs and gives an hourly rate. Any idea?
  16. She should question that about UC. They told me that if you have over £6k in savings the amount you receive would reduce, but you’d still be entitled to something. Unless the woman I spoke to was just trolling me
  17. Thanks for that. Yeah I’m going out a walk or a hike every day. If I was staying in 24/7 I’d be climbing the walls! We definitely do need to keep mentally busy. It’s just been one shit thing after the next for the last 7 months. It’s hard to cope with all that
  18. My cousin took the pic. He’s not one for grandiose scaremongering for FB likes
  19. I doubt anybody around my way will do it. Nobody was out singing Flower of Scotland at 8pm on Saturday like FB had instructed people to do
  20. Is that “good” or bad? I haven’t been following the numbers for new cases
  21. No wonder he looked so proud! I haven’t been able to find any for 11 days now. I’ve tried 3 different towns.
  22. I just hope people enjoy and don’t take for granted the simple things anymore. Things like seeing loved ones or friends, going to football or gigs. Going for a walk however often you want. Stopping to appreciate nature. Being kind to one another and not being so so judgemental or materialistic. That’s what I hope anyway
  23. It was worrying when England took so long to announce their figures yesterday, but they were a pleasant surprise. Hopefully that wasn’t just a blip
