  1. But but but we will have a new stand!!!! Honestly, first the hub now the stand. And the backslapping of offield progress. Call me old fashioned but I'd rather we won on the pitch first and foremost...and I'm bitter about the NT being out of commission this season. The stand and SRE have been woeful for me aided by woeful performances (by and large) at home
  2. Aye, some absolute dross. Gandoh, Kenyan, Maguire, Bangala etc etc. for every Dipo we have 6 bags of shite
  3. Struggling to think of a worse season for transfers (I'm only going back maybe 6 years, the Neil Watt juniors and Shanks days given me PTSD). Pendelbury, Senga, Ahui, Rose, Young (4 duds and a good one but all away by January end). Chalmers not as good as last season but gets pass marks, Willoughby, McHugh, Sanders all various degrees of meh. McGeady pish. Armatey fell off and has been bombed out Dowds and Murphy the best of the lot
  4. The new signings aren't an upgrade that what was there. Willoughby seems to be a Poundland version of Rose. McHugh has done nothing anytime he's played (and I include the reserve game on Tuesday in amongst that). Sanders steady enough and Clarke didn't seem to be any upgrade on Charlie. Woeful window and if Bullen had been in charge today, there would have been no end of pelters about him. Pish performance
  5. Aye Brown said after the Dundee Utd game that Charlie chucked two in that day. I can see the new guy starting today * * probably a definite now that Albinson starts seeing as I've said that
  6. Call me mad, but I'm confident for the next two games. Raith always seem to shit the bed when they have a chance to go above Dundee Utd, plus Dabrowski never gives me confidence whenever I watch him (another Mehmet). As for Partick they were dung with Ross Stewart in goal. 4 points minimum
  7. The one week I don't watch the Fri night game on BBC Scotland and a miracle happens. Dunfermline winning
  8. I'm watching Leverkusen struggle v Mainz. This Ross Stewart getting pelters the guy that was at Hearts (or was it Ross County??)
  9. The amount of Smiths fans on P&B gives me hope that society isn't well and truly fcked. Kudos guys
  10. There was some cones along Somerset Road when I walked down it for that game. Even with the cones out you still get lazy dobbers parking between them. I usually park on Walker Road or at the skate park. The latter its always easy to get a space. Sadly in this day and age folk don't even want to walk 5 mins to get anywhere
  11. I'll go out on a limb here and say it won't be another 4-4. By and large the last 2 seasons worth of games at Somerset have been drab affairs. 1-1
  12. I always find it amusing when there is so much shite talk on here around the transfer window, then the said player goes to some no-mark team elsewhere
  13. It would have been better being a Saturday. Don't know if I'm getting too old but I really can't be arsed with night games anymore. I still go, but out of routine rather than a burning desire to go
  14. Ayr, I can see Brechin getting back there. The likes of Cowdenbeath, Albion Rovers and East Stirlingshire seem like lost causes
  15. Don't think any team that's been relegated have even been close to getting back to the league. Would like to see one of the WOSFL teams get there but it's never going to happen. Lowland and highland league is where they've all came up from iirc
  16. Thought they were maybe turning things around after a good win at the weekend. Would be sad to see Clyde go, remember my Dad telling me they were decent back in the day, anytime we drove by Shawfield greyhound track and the old stadium wall was still there. The play off game may save them though, but aye they're finishing bottom
  17. Cadden was the only "regular" who's coming back from long term injury. The boy Whittaker has played a few times this season, and the lad Rudi something I can't spell
  18. Yip disappointing performance. Expected better from our lads as Hibs just had a bunch of kids plus Cadden and the dreadlocked boy that was on loan at Airdrie. Franny looked quite peeved off at times when Brown was shouting at him. He took the goal well though
  19. Wonder what kind of team we'll put out v Hibs reserves tomorrow. Bet365 offering a cracking price for us to win. Surely worth a punt considering we've played quite a few first teamers in reserve games this season, and from what I've seen Hibs have predominantly been playing kids
