  1. Again going back to my previous point, our fans must have some impact on guys deciding between here and other clubs! Moaning at them before they've even kicked a ball in an East Fife shirt.

    Clueless.

You genuinely think players choose not to sign for East Fife because some fans moan on an internet forum?

After all the shite that was spouted I'd be expecting better as well. Where are all these Utogans and Portugese you were promised?

  2. Not that much positivity about Mitch Megginson signing. If someone had said this time last year you have a choice of 2 strikers, mitch megginson or Jim Lister i'm pretty sure most folk would have said Megginson and look at the season Lister had. He could well be a great signing for us.

Can't say I was too keen on the Lister signing this time last year but I also highly doubt most folk would have preferred the household name that is Mitch Megginson.

He may well turn out to be a cracking signing but my expectations were higher given the high calibre of Murray's signings so far and the fact we need a first choice striker signed up to play alongside Fleming. Murray could be looking at trying a different formation but if not I personally don't feel Prunty is good enough to be a regular starter in this league.

  3. By the way, Los Lobos' slower version of La Bamba was brilliant as well.

Heard it while I was in the queue for a pint, sounded excellent.

Really wanted to see them, thought they woulda started a bit later due to them being the only support.

  4. He's decent enough, always felt everyone else liked him a bit more than I did but certainly capable in the 2nd division.

He's been touting himself for full time the last couple of seasons and always hangs off on signing a deal. IMO he's nowhere near good enough for full time and with the money we were offering him I'm confident we can find a better replacement.

Good signing for Ayr but not a huge loss for us if that makes sense.

  5. McNiff wasn't ever that great in the second division, done a reasonable job. Don't think he really stood out in the third with Annan either.

We're going to need far better than that to survive this season.

Wouldn't be against Murray playing there providing he gets fit enough, looking a bit podgy. That being said I'd like to see someone with a wee bit of pace.
