Gemmell was decent for us. He used to get pelters when the team were playing shite which I always felt were unjustified. Never understood why he was disliked by so many, the team he played in was pretty dreadful but that was no fault of his.
Always remember him for scoring the winner away at Raith in the Scottish Cup. Back in the good old days when the draw was immediately after the match, and we got Celtic in the next round.

I'd rather have Grindlay up front than Lewis Coult. A big time Charlie who would only be a good player if his ability was a match for his ego.
No thanks.

For the best I feel.
Certainly got better towards the end of the season but I've never been a huge fan. Even in his good games he only managed about a 6 or 7 out of 10z
Good luck to him wherever he ends up, I'm pretty confident it wont be in the 1st division.

Would like to keep Gilhaney, been a standout since Murray took over, prefer him to McDougall. I have no doubt Turner will have caught the attention of some bigger clubs but if no offers come his way I reckon he'll sign on for next term.
I see Donnelly has had his contract terminated at Airdrie. Would take a risk on him, clearly a player in there somewhere.

Meant to add...
Can't believe the bar ran out of Tennents half an hour into the night and didn't manage to source more from somewhere. Then they ran out of all lager bar Miller, boufin.
We should be runnin' that shit ourselves and getting maximum profit. Must have made an absolute killing yesterday.
Is it true we only get a rental fee each year and dont benefit from pie sales, bar sales and hospitality sales? Seems crazy.

Chris Turner hinted that he would be staying for next season during his speech.
Think the players are down on Tuesday night to find out who's being released.
Some night, suffering for it now.

Hope someone is keeping them some tickets.Fun day at the rock this Saturday? What does that mean?
The Swiss guys are coming, that always means fun. And lots of drinking.
DUH, DUH, DUH, DUH, DUMBARTON! DUH, DUH, DUH, DUH, DUMBARTON!
Smoke where they want.

He uses the ball pool for practice...
One of your better efforts Moonster

McGinn has been excellent. Solid defensively and a real threat going forward. Has had numerous assists and scored a cracker against Hamilton away.
I'd like to see him given a chance at St Mirren next season, but if not I reckon he could find a full time deal elsewhere without too much trouble.

I fucking love Garry Fleming.
This pretty much sums up my feelings towards Garry.
I think he'll be here next season.

If the only gig he's managed to land is with Rhu Amateurs then I'm convinced it was the right move to let him go.

We had suitable cover in McCusker.
Should never have sent him on loan. With Fleming injured and McDougall wasted up front were seriously short of bodies in that position. If big Jim got injured we'd be fucked.
Murray oot.

McCusker on loan to Clyde.
Surprised at that to be honest and think he's a better option than Winters. Dont understand why Murray signed him to loan him out within a few months.
Must be looking to free up a wage for Winters.

Must admit I was surprised to see Robbie Winters turn out for us on Saturday.
May be useful for training and in the dressing room but I fail to see how he improves us on the park.

There must be a good few bodies in that squad who are too old for u16 or u17 or what ever the next age level is. That leaves them with nothing.
Seems like most teams have been playing youngsters bar Airdrie.

Anyone know why we aren't included in the reserve league cup? Looks like were the only club who fielded a team in the league who wont be taking part in the cup

Decent interview with Murray on the beeb site for anyone who's interested.

Turners been outstanding in recent weeks, I can see why u would think he has been anonymous as he does the dirty work! Alan cook back at the rock?
I'd rather we avoided wee fuds like Cook, not required nor wanted.

Good luck Pat, you was awesome last season.
I must of missed the Pat Walker being awesome bit of last season

Walker offski.
Another good sign that Murray recognises when players simply aren't good enough for this level.

I've been a wee bit disappointed since his return.
He's a fantastic player and seems to have really bulked up since going full time but I expected a wee bit more from him than he's shown.
Hopefully he can kick on at Motherwell and break into the first team. He has a great attitude and has done brilliantly to return from such a bad injury. If anyone deserves to be successful then it's Nicky.

Any comments on yesterdays fans forum?
For me it's pretty obvious how Jardine feels about the whole thing (despite him stating he's 50/50 etc).
I only really went to have a better understanding of what the whole things about and how it works and the presentation delivered that clearly. Well done to the club for putting it together.
Highlight of the meeting was the 'meanwhile, back at the ranch' comment. I'll be bumping that one, belter.

Can't say I'm overly bothered he's been farmed out, has looked out of his depth this season and will benefit more from regular games at Annan than sitting on the bench with us. Obviously Murray has deemed him not good enough for this campaign and I'd tend to agree with that on what I've seen so far.
Still young so hopefully we'll see him back a better player, he was decent last season.

If he can vastly improve his defensive work rate in the same way Gilhaney and McDougall have then this should be a handy signing. He can put a decent cross in with both feet which is a massive plus point and has pace when he gets going.
He's just not impressed me at all this season and leaves the full back horribly exposed at times. Even going forward he's been pretty rubbish and seems to be really struggling with the first division.
I imagine he has been signed as backup so would expect him to be on a relatively low wage.

Fleming signs up for next season
