  1. Every present part time League team in the country should be worried. 3 bad seasons on and off the park and you're looking at some playoff in banjo country near a roundabout in Ayrshire.
  2. Love the fans guide to SPFL2. Notice no mention of it being twice the price to get in.
  3. Thought there was a real end of season feel to the game today. Glencairn might even have nicked the points in the final 10 minutes. Good to see Rutherglen Glencairn and Pollok going for it on the licence front. Hopefully see the benefits of that in the years to come. Would love to see Rutherglen Glencairn getting a wee run in the big Scottish and a bit of publicity. Maybe then the local wee neds might actually realise they've a local club who are trying to help the community rather than trying to stone the punters watching the game.
  4. Yeh yeh So non league clubs are picking off the dead wood, one club at a time.
  5. Let's be honest, Cowdenbeath and 20 others like them held on because it was a closed shop. Now there's a partial window and the Juniors are picking them off, one by one.
  6. Tranent win EoSFL Cowdenbeath relegated to Lowland League.
  7. Everybody is too polite to say it but the old Central League clubs either in or going into next season's Division One will be hoping Rutherglen Glencairn join them. A lot easier to get to and from Rutherglen on a winter's day than to and from banjo country. No doubt the other top flight clubs in banjo country are feeling likewise regarding Glenafton staying up in the top league.
  8. If Glenafton get more points than Benburb, it's a no. 7th bottom waiting on Darvel playoffs
  9. Ball now totally in Glenafton's court. Rutherglen Glencairn and Benburb can do no more than wait now on results elsewhere.
  10. You just about about yer own outfit not ending up in the Wosfl
  11. Throw it on 2 or 3 seasons. Darvel get into the big leagues replacing say Albion Rovers. And the money dries up. Darvrl would still be left with the infrastructure, floodlights, cover, maybe more seats etc. Not bad for a wee village former Junior club. And they'd still be in the big Scottish Cup every year.
  12. Got to hand it to Blantyre Victoria for those two small stands they built. Quietly impressed.
  13. Broadwood ain't exactly nearby public transport. Okay saying a bus stop at the roundabout but at 10pm after a midweek game it can be slightly unnerving as time passes and no sign of a bus.
  14. And the two couldn't get together and move it to Tuesday???
