They all sound absolutely inferior to a good guitar, amp and pedal board set up. They're good for quickness but not brilliant for actual tone or customisation imho.
Well the best amp I've ever owned is a Fender Mustang modelling amp. So of the tones are getting really close to the real thing.

Multi effects pedals are for starters and scumbags imho.
Yeah its awful having pre-set tones that sound good at the flick of a switch.

Squier by Fender - you should get a decent starter pack for about £150-200.

I just swapped some pedals for a Korg AX3000g. Bit fiddly but upon first impression looks like it'll do the trick.

Anyone reccomend some good multi effects units? Im needing to be jake the peg at the moment, and now im singing and playing rhythm theres not any real need.

Who plays guitar? What do you play? Any hints or tips?
I play a Fender Tele Thinline Deluxe. Part of their Modern Player series so made in China, but Ive gigged this extensively for 2 and a half years and never ever been let down once by it. Has 2 P-90 pickups which are awesome.
I recently bought a "Harley Benton" version of a Gibson ES-335 for £100 new from Thomann. Its actually a very very decent guitar, not much worse than an Epi Dot and about a third of a price.
Amp wise use a Fender Mustang 100w combo. Fantastic and versatile modelling amp, really really loud too. Had to turn it down a number of times un-miced at small venues, easily holds it own against bigger amps and drums etc - and light enough to carry about. Cheap too, £200 odd quid.
I tend to go for "budget" gear, but if you look hard enough you can get some pretty great bargains.

haha!But yeah, the way the manager comes across is first class. He knows that we, the fans aren't stupid and can relate to our frustrations.

I watched the last 10 mins of the game on Sat next to the dugout, and Mckeown, Anderson and Ray Mckinnon all came over to me and my dad to thank us for coming up/shake our hands. Absolute class attitude at the club this season.
Also just by listening to Mckinnon during the game you can tell he's a cut above what we have been used to lately.

dissapointing to see our fans describe the young lad Petrie as "dreadful" after 20 minutes where he did actually alright.
Sums up our support. No wonder crowds dwindle, it's murder listening to some of the absolute zooms in that South Stand.

The team were also full of dicks like Watson, Fox etc who had clearly had little time for the support.

Suits me, Mrs had some family event planned with her side of the family that i have to attend.
She is utterly fizzing that the game is now cancelled so that I am not actually inconvenienced in any way.
