It's Sunday and Im totally buzzing for the next game.

Yesterday was a game Murray would have seen out for 0-0. Not oor Ray.

Different vibe this season in the stands. Everyone seems much more together.

Sounds like temple hall jake balls buzzing cos they got a new prescription of methadone. Big day out to Cowdenbeath the highlight of their October holidays.
I reckon they should be exported to Syria.
Nothing wrong with temple hall.

I want to. The Main Stand is a bit sedate. If I start shouting foul mouthed abuse, where every second word is a f**k or c**t, people will be offended. That rarely happens in the South Stand as you're all dreadfully common and love a good f**k and c**t rant.
S = Swearing.
Pretty sure you would get in with the same season ticket. We got in the main with our South Stand ones on Sat, admittedly via the Raith Suite.

What do people define as "classy football" at this level?

Even the price argument only goes so far.
The price of cinema etc has increased more in % terms than football admission at our level.
People in Kdy will follow the Rovers if there's any chance of glory. Simple as.

When the chips come down tho, people will watch the Rovers for big games. 8k to Hampden, 3k to Dens, 4k to Easter Road. I'd imagine flyers could only dream of that.

Fair enough. I live in a city where ice hockey is something of a complete nothing sport.
What a terribly sad situation that ice hockey is more attractive than football.

Ice hockey
Do people actually choose that over the football?

I'm just enjoying the football just now. Right behind the manager and his philosophy.

Tactics, attitude and application of players, team selection, substitutions, willingness to change. All far superior.

(I don't agree with all the criticism that it's become routine to throw at Murray, and while I'm happy with the way things are looking, I also think it's much too early to judge whether McKinnon represents an improvement. But I can't be arsed getting into a discussion about it.)
The difference is utterly huge.

Top 6 Premiership side yet?
Better get collecting, Leish.

Pleased with that.
Focus, ambition but controlled.
Im sure the board will have their own detailed strategy document that will be very dry and dull that will have the specifics in it, you dont publish stuff like that on a club website.

The performance yesterday was directly comparable to the league matches against Rangers under Murray, I'm afraid; a timid surrender of sit back and let them hammer us.
Other than that, it is far too early for that sort of talk. If we're 7th at Christmas and struggling then I may be inclined to start agreeing. At any rate, and as I've now said several times, we can't expect instant results under McKinnon given what are more or less wholesale changes.
Not really, this Rangers team are years ahead of last seasons. Can't compare the two at all!

Some of the Rovers fans on fantalk already trying to compare McKinnon to Murray. Unreal.

Falkirk game was a dead heat separated by a wonder goal and a red card, not losing sleep at that.

Steady on.
Mckinnon is a methodical manager who will want to work intensively with every part of the team. Cuthbert and Laidlaw are there full time, and understandably the manager wants to work closely with these guys. Mcgurn simply does not give him that option.
Mckinnon wont have seen the Mcgurn we have, and he wants to do things his own way - i back him with that.

Mcgurn away to Stranraer on a season long loan.

Maybe it's news on Callachan's injury?
As much as we don't want Davie to leave it's unfair for a keeper of the quality not to be playing regularly. Cuthbert has been superb for us this season and quite fairly is now regarded by the number 1 choice.
I will hold nothing against McGurn is he does indeed leave, either on loan or on a free, and if he returns to the club in the future he'll receive some welcome back.
Of course it could always just be another youth player going out on loan. I remember the rumours last time and it turned out to be a 6 month loan deal for Court.
Regarding the managers fan's message I don't think I've ever been more behind a manager than I am with Ray. His passion for taking us forward is unquestionable and the atmosphere against Alloa and Hamilton was brilliant. Last season it was just horrible and the last game against Livi was the worst I'd ever experienced but the way Ray speaks to us as fans and the way he has his team set up to play has allowed us to quickly get on side with him.
There will no doubt be bad performances this season (we've already had Stenny away) but so long as the manager acknowledges that and we bounce back with the same desire and passion as we have already shown this past week the fans will stick by him.
This!

Meh, Mckinnon obviously wants to work with his keepers during the week - understandable really.
