I’d play Tiffoney tomorrow. Links up well with the star boy Beck. What a player he is by the way.
Maybe not Tiffoney seeing as he’s injured

I can understand why some are saying they thought it was a red but I totally agree with you.
I’m surprised that more has not been said about the penalty - Bakayoko was less than 2 feet away.
I guess over the season a few decisions will go our way.We got a soft penalty at St Mirren. Missed it right enough.

Don't recall it and just watched the highlights back and it's not included - so nae idea, I'm afraid!
How could you miss it?

I was lucky enough to see him playing in that strip and the V neck the season before. The film clip is before my time but he scores Scotland’s second goal in 4-1 away win over Austria in 1955. Crowd got a bit upset in this one. Tommy Younger and Lawrie Reilly also playing.
Spotted Smith getting hooked by a fan in the wee brawl. Austrian c***s!

Futba eh.
Didn’t see the equaliser happening even at 2-1. Should’ve won by 3 or 4.

I thought Bakayoko and Robinson looked a lot better on Sunday. Bakayoko came into hospo after the game, he looked incredibly young, maybe because I’m incredibly old. Anyway he got asked ‘what was Big Dunc like as a manager?’ He looked around very nervously and said ‘he’s not here is he?’. Quite amusing.
I thought 2nd half especially Bakayoko started winning headers and ruffling up Hearts centrehalfs a bit.

Holy f**k what’s happened to this topic. If I call this game a derby will it get it back on track?

I'm kind of hoping we still get in another left back to provide competition with Beck. I get the feeling that another striker coming in would be on the condition of getting Rudden out. The combination of Bakayoko & Robinson isn't quite working yet, I think it will eventually and the only way for that to happen is sticking with those two in the faith that it does. Robinson will start taking his chances, I'm confident of it; he has had quite a few over the past three games.
Lamie will cover for Beck. A centre forward and an attacking midfielder would be braw. Probably pushing it though.

Just wanted to say I thought you were the better side in the second half yesterday and made it a nerve-wracking last 30 mins. I think you have enough to stay up, at least. I also thought you brought a very decent, and very vocal, travelling support. Perhaps a wee bit too passionate at times! Best of luck to you for the remainder of the season, with the obvious exception of when you're playing us.
I do think Greive's attempt was probably over the line, but I accept that it cannot be established with certainty, given the technology available to the refs at the moment.
Looked over the line to me.

107 appearances and 2 assists.
Goalkeepers have better goal contributions than that!
Scary to think he’s had the final pass only twice out of probably 160 or so goals in his time here.

After Sean Goss according to the Record
That would be decent.

For me Byrne needed to be more forward thinking when in possession.
Wish him all the best for the future. Free’s up a wage hopefully for us to bring in another player.

We could do with a left sided centrehalf now.

Yep, like I say nothing wrong with it as such. We are screaming out for a midfielder too. Just overall long term strategy 7 loan signings a season isn't great but I guess we are planning to consolidate this year and crack on next.
Think there’s at least 4 of them out of contract with their parent club at the end of the season. Hopefully it’s a case of if things go well we can secure them on contracts. If they perform well it’s a good building block going forward.

I’m not really that fussed about the handball tbh.

Entire team looked absolutely burst after 80 mins and I really don't understand the total refusal to make any subs. We definitely could have done with fresh legs.
I can see his reasoning. Think he just wanted to get a point on the board and get the season up and running. We were comfortable in the game. Having said that when Motherwell got the corner in the last minute of injury time I thought here we go.
Pineda and or Tiffoney for either of the front 2 or both is what I would’ve done though.

We're still in a situation where we need to play a 4 defenders, 3 CMs, 2 wingers and 2 strikers, due to the squad.
That’s cheating

I’ll take the point. Good to get the he season up and running. Probably should’ve won all 3 points though.

It's a good move for young Wilkie, definitely needing regular 1st team football now at this stage of his development so hopefully he gets it there. Gives me a wee concern that we're not very well covered in the LB position if Beck is out other than Cammy moving over to that side if need be.
Would imagine Donelly would cover there once he recovers from his injury.
